I think what a lot of people don’t realize is this: TJ is devoted to the gang, and to Ian. Ian is only devoted to TJ, not the gang. This is honest of god the biggest rift in their relationship, THIS is the crux of their issues. Ian just cannot handle the life TJ wants anymore, and by extension he can’t handle TJ even though they have such an insane bond. Don’t know how it’ll end up, but if they can get over that big disconnect then the future looks very bright for them.

Just remembered why I like this story, their chemistry is literally so insane. The only other BL characters I can think of off the top of my head with chemistry like this are Ian and TJ from Wet Sand. For them and the couple in 2020, shit just feels so electric when they look at each other. When they fuck it’s just as electric as when they fight. This is interesting…we already know Ian feels guilty for what happened with TJ because he feels like TJ got into gang life just to protect him. That’s what pulled them apart, and now Jo is essentially telling Ian he’s willing to do the same thing. I honestly think this will eventually push Ian and Jo apart, I’d be surprised if it didn’t. If Jo can no longer give Ian the normal life he desires then idk what will come of their relationship.
