Not only is he ariens supposed guardian who is meant to watch over her and protect her…he’s also her brothers guardian too. i don’t understand why the author didn’t just write them having two separate guardians because if they end up together arjen is left in the dust…like…why?

fr i really dont like the idea where jason will end up with arien cause like then jason would be more protective of arien and just ignore jason eventhough hes the guardian for both of them but since arien is his lover obvsly he will pay more attention to arien, arjen will be so lonely he was the one who desperately wanted a guardian
