can someone analyse what happened to haoran when chihiro left the house after that fight and he just stood there waiting at the door?? i mean i know what happened, but i'd like to hear thoughts/analysis on it
that part also made me feel a lot for him. i think that's a trauma response from him. he only became fine after chihiro agreed with him that he's got no where to go. he needs chihiro and he needed chihiro to need him too. that simple detail of him standing there waiting with so much dread made me feel so . god this author is great at writing gut wrenching shit
right!! i didn’t see anyone comment on this part and i feel like it’s filled with so much emotion without saying a single word. when he was just stood there like that my heart was heavy, i felt so deflated? and anxious? it was the perfect way to show his trauma. i literally wanted to hug him so tight god his forced smile and the way he acted okay when he returned? it might just be my favourite part of the manga.

The MC, Chen Wan (shou) has been in love with Zhao Shengge (gong) for the longest time but he kept this love as a secret. Chen Wan is a devoted man and he takes care of Zhao Shengge in the shadow. Hes content just loving Shengge in secret and he already accepted the fact that his love is unrequited. Like he’s 101 percent convinced that he’d never end up with Shengge (he also thinks that Shengge doesnt know he exists). Shengge on the other hand doesnt know chen wan is in love with him so he finds him suspicious at first, then this turn into curiosity. Bro would orchestrate a chasing arc (turning Chen Wan’s unrequited love into mutual pining)
It’s angsty and the romance is slow burn. I highly recommend the novel bc it’s so damn gooood

Yeah nice narration but the part I love the most like what I've really been waited and excited for is the part where the ml found everything how they first met and mcs one sided crush throughout all those years
lee geom is mesmerising and hauntingly beautiful. i like that he’s the one that orchestrated everyone’s downfall and wasn’t portrayed as being “weak” just bc he’s smaller or bc of his background. as often times the ML usually swoops in and “saves” them, it’s nice that HE saved himself and it’s shown he doesn’t need anyone to save him, he’s in no way weak and shouldn’t be underestimated bc of his looks like everyone kept doing. I also like that this is continued at the end where he’s still the one calling the shots and is spoiling his bf
i kinda want mokyeon to go no contact just to see what happens, if he’s suddenly gone maybe nanjo will realise his own feelings too, but lowkey need that angst
