still doesn't mean he deserves everything that happened. If anything, the stepmother should be the one getting all the brunt but no it's taekyung. like tf u mean it's getting out of line, it's always been bad. torture in all degrees is unacceptable. Heeseo is literally just a manchild, if this is what truly bothered him, then he could've told this to the police, but instead he chose to lock up and abuse the mc.

yk how in the earlier chapter he keeps giving money to heeseo secretly. he could've done that till the end and not take heeseo into his account but since he did (they live tgt), heeseo become dependent, he also kept him in the dark about heeseo's mom situation because he would take responsibility of what is coming. However he leave him in the end single straddle which is irresponsible of him, and he take the stab as a form of apologies just to be free from guilt. Imagine you raise a kid, spoiled them just to leave them. As you said ml could have just reported to the police but does he have prove? (even if he does he wont btw we all know that) but same goes to mc, he could choose to just left the ml in the beginning instead of keeping him and shaped him as he is now. What ml did is wrong but mc did wrong too

He later attempts suicide but fails. He loses his memories and the doctors assume his abuse is self harm. So yeah.

It's worse, the memory loss isn't proper memory loss its like short term memory stuff. But he's still severely traumatised. But after this he gets to run away for like 7 years cus the 3 boys think he's dead. But Hayeon finds him again...

He ends up in the end happy with Hayeon, who is no longer abusing him. But yeah it's-

Hayeon isn't like actively manipulating him in the end. Like Hayeon genuinely loves the mc in his own twisted way which is why he does the things he does to the mc because he's not okay in the head. But by the end after all they've been through (cus a lot of stuff happens to Hayeon, not enough but he get's his own share of shit to go through largely self inflicted as a way to almost atone for what he's done) but yeah by the end they realise if they try they can be happy together and try lead normal lives. It's ultimately all fucked up because of all the trauma Hayeon put the mc through just because he wasn't taught by his family how to have health relationships. But it technically isn't the worst ending. Because at least he is moving on from the trauma and isn't being abused at the very least.
