People, the mc is probably apologizing to the ml cause the dude he was fighting with was older? Im guessing ml is a freshmen and the other dudes are seniors. Rude or not, fighting with a little kid is just silly. It's just being the bigger person and easier than the mc also picking a fight with a random kid, neutralize the situation and leave guys.
It was just kinda stupid, it mostly just reminded me of a low quality wattpad story. I didn't feel anything for the characters and there wasn't really anything likable about them. The ml was a kind of a pedo, Mc has horrible trust and communication skills, 2nd ml got let off a little too easy for manipulation and kidnapping, and the side characters had no real importance besides conflict. Like, the whole story could've ended on the 1st chapter if the Mc just didn't have selective hearing.
