I agree with Latte, you're not exactly criticizing the story, especially since you haven't read it (it isn't finished either, so). Stories are just that... Stories, you can criticize them once you understand what the story entails... So far, no one actually knows what this story is in it's entirety. You're simply uncomfortable with the fact that there's rape (which is fine!), but not wanting to see rape isn't exactly a criticism of the story.

I actually read it as well and it's obviously a deliberate decision for sexual assault or rape to be a selling point for this story. And oh please, stop pretending that you don't know where this is going. This pattern isn't new and Uke is gonna end up with this creep and that's fucked up in itself.

They have every right to criticize it for this tbh. If they don’t like that it’s pretty justifiable. However I do understand your point because I do read this and read it regardless, because as you stated it’s fiction and it doesn’t work the same as in real life at all.

Well, it is psychological, so in that way, I think it depends entirely on how the characters handle and resolve this situation (since we're at the midpoint of the story it seems) will dictate if the pattern is different or not from the usual victim-loves-abuser type story, perhaps the author plans for a meaningful end, or maybe not.

We still don't actually know, and I have some hope since the dialogue and plot choices (and psychological tag) seem to make it stray a bit from that trope... Besides, I personally don't see anything wrong with enjoying 'fucked up' content (for degenerate purposes)... Or enjoying 'fucked up' content if it's done well and with intriguing choices (for storytelling purposes)... which I still have yet to decide for this manga thus far.

I've read some of the replies and I just wanna say: you have the right to express your views of this, just as much as anyone else. I think it was reasonable criticism. Personally, I really enjoy this :] but to each their own

I wouldn't read it if I knew the context of this yaoi, I'd have preferred there be a warning in there summary at least for non con but meh, not like you can't enjoy bc I understand its fiction but stuff like this really triggers me so I like to steer clear of this subgenre. Which is why I might've been aggressive in my opinion but I don't think it's wrong for me to criticize it either.
I guess the problem was the lack of warnings, if present I wouldn't be here(￣∇￣")

That's fair, I definitely recommend checking the tags before reading so you don't stumble upon content like this as often.
