Both seme and uke are very powerful, tough and smart. Super compatible. Unique plot. Never read anything like this before. Very refreshing. Excellent character development and pace. Highly recommend.

Seme didn't do anything inappropriate to uke when he was a child. There is no pedophilia or grooming either. Uke is the one who fall in love first while seme is waiting for uke to understand his own feeling.
In many Chinese martial arts story, father is the master of their kids. To be fair to other students too. Father usually very stern and emotionless. Many even see their kids as tool to continue bloodline or expand their empire etc.
Please don't use our normal logic or judgment when reading fantasy BL. It's straightforward plot and easy to read. Just enjoy this story. Have fun

This is a very well written and drawn manga but the squeamish and faint-hearted need to avoid read it. So much angst, rape, pedophilia, inhumane acts etc etc that I'm taking a break at chapter 39.
Finally finish this masterpiece. It's sooooo good. Definitely on my reread list
Story didn't establish the bond/love between seme and uke. Then, they are suddenly willing to die for each other. Don't bother reading. Save your time for other manga.
