wait i was expecting some big backstory as to how he started sleeping with guys in particular but he just didn't care about gender and that's all there was to it.. that's kinda crazy
i didn't have massive expectations about how the jinx as a whole came around... but i was really surprised to see that he never cared about whether he slept with men or women like there was no backstory to that whatsoever, there was no exploration of his sexuality and it's kinda weird like it doesn't really make sense? his character is so full of holes for me right now i feel like i understand him way less after this
jaekyung is truly the most self-centered and narcissistic character in existence... kim dan is out there clearly suffering and all he's focused on is how annoyed he is with dan's condition because it hinders his ability to be useful to jaekyung... the way he threw him out of that car while dan was asleep broke my heart... i need him to suffer and grovel so bad i genuinely don't know how on earth he could possibly make up for everything he's done.... i can't see how this story could possibly have a happy ending there's just no way

i think after reading bj alex and now reading this... i don't think this author writes about characters that have a genuine justification for why they are the way they are. i think they write characters that are just genuinely shitty people, with some additional trauma that did egg that personality trait on, but all in all they are just not good people.. until they eventually meet someone that helps them become better.
and this is in no way me defending jk or his actions, i think he's absolutely terrible. but i think the reason this story gets so much hate is because the plot isn't fitting in with people's expectations and it isn't going the way they want it to go so it makes people really angry.
trust me i'm one of them, at one point i HATED this and was ready to drop it but at the same time i've been invested in reading it for so long now that i just wanna know how it ends. and i guess because this is fiction after all, it is easier to forgive. so i'm not reading this to figure out why jk is terrible and how he turned out to be this way (because from the looks of the backstory, i don't think we're getting much more than that)... i'm more interested in seeing how he's gonna change, what he's gonna do next, what kind of person he's gonna become and what role dan is gonna play in all of it.
and mainly i hope to see a happy ending for dan because he deserves one the most
But he don't have the right to put someone through unimaginable suffering so "he get better" like g to therapy
yeah i'm not saying he had any right to do any of what he did, like i said i'm not defending him and i also think he's terrible... i'm just saying if you're hoping to get some sort of justification for why he is the way he is, you're not gonna get it bc that isn't the point of the story
Yeah but I hope they not pass everything after as romance but psychological horror or some shit. I have no problem about people creating asshole characters and story being messed up until you say "yeah he destroyed his life ! But he said sorry so it's ok and the other one should forgive him and be happy with him forever" and pass it as a beautiful romance story
if those are your expectations, i fear you're reading the wrong thing i'm gonna be honest with you this genre has been very toxic for many many years and while there are some really heartfelt and wholesome stories out there, if you dislike these sort of stories with these sort of characters, you're probably better off staying away from this author as a whole.
Im not reading this I don't lie to you, I've heard about it against my will and now I'm desperate to see if the doctor ? Medic ? Will get out of this story and the rapist will end up in jail
Call in morbid curiosity but yeah.
So I'm just going through a chapter every few updates
