Everyone is a victim in this story, but I especially feel bad for Yoseob. The kid has been treated like an object for his entire life, even by Jaeha. What's sadder still is that I've seen this kind of thing in real life. The first 5-6 years of someone's life is crucial to psychological, emotional, and physical development; if you fuck a kid up in that time, they'll be messed up for good. It's VERY difficult, perhaps impossible for the most part, to fix that kind of damage. Poor Yoseob :(

Unrelated random observation, but I can't help but notice that smoking in manhua and manga is considered cool, and is an action usually attributed to Westerner characters or "Western looking" characters do it...which is funny because in most Western countries, people think smoking is gross and uncool now. So whenever I see a "cool" character smoking, I find it funny.

True. Japanese women got it the worst. Young mothers will gather and chat in the park while smoking beside their babies in the strollers. And they didnt even realize that they killed their babies slowly since young!!! Almost all Japanese that I knew are terribly heavy smokers. The heaviest one can smoke 7 packs of cigarettes in a day.
