I like how the title took on a new meaning. The people within the walls are the "titans" and the people across the ocean are attacking them, which is the opposite of what we originally thought the title meant. I love when authors do that.
At one point, I wouldn't have minded if Bum ended up with the psychopath, but now I want him to outsmart him and get him caught. Poor Bum deserves better.
