This is the only web comic that I actually took the time to set up a coolmic account for and regularly check for updates. Their dynamic is so good and I feel like there are so many subtle aspects to the characters that are not eclipsed by the sex like in so many other smutty stories. This is a pairing I really, really love and am glad to support! Gozu X Eve forever (⌒▽⌒)
I am not a huge fan of the ReaperXGoblin story, even though it is meant to be a main story as well. BUT I do really love the details and mechanics of becoming a Reaper, the codependency of Goblins, their respective powers, and the depth of each one's culture! I think this mythos is very well thought out and set up. The sinners get numbers and have their memories wiped to become Reapers? Cool! Goblins can store things in another dimension?! Hella rad! I don't like their dynamic, it feels so forced, but the backstory might turn out to be as well plotted as the factoids about their species. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ We shall wait and see- and focus on San while doing so!×
The VERY FIRST gay story I ever bought for myself from an actual book store. It holds such dear memories for me and I will treasure the entire series forever!
A lot of people are upset about the assault (and I soooooo wish Moonhoo had properly kicked ass for it!) and lack of fallout for it, but I totally understand the perspective of someone who is so hopelessly drawn up in another person that, even if they receive only pain and abuse, it feels like an impossible feat to leave. I am so glad they got a happy ending and for such a wonderful ride throughout. Having more to focus on in a story besides the romance is always a plus!
Squee, I just love Core Scramble so much~ (⌒▽⌒)
As someone who endured a similar situation with a person that was my closet friend since childhood, being taken advantage of by him, and left reeling from the incident in solitary agony... I really love this story and the way it captures the struggle between Chiwoo's established affection towards his best friend and the revulsion towards his abuser. I agree that you can love different people in different ways and you can love the same person while also hating parts of them. It is such a deeply painful combination of emotions and the way he dealt with it and took steps to move forward was perfectly measured out in balance with reality. I am proud of Chiwoo's character for holding out hope in the end and extremely pleased with the author for creating a story that provided an authentic sense of growth and ambiguity. What a wonderful, wonderful webtoon!

The author is busy with Yarichin Bitch Club and doesn't update this story anymore. I might be mistaken or it's temporary, but I think it is on indefinite hiatus. That still doesn't stop me from re-reading these chapters every few months. ╥﹏╥
