Like i cant bring myself to like the ML and the MC is just too 60’s housewife coded for my taste. Triggers my cptsd if anything. Also whats so good about being seen as a human? Like he is not? They are not? Not using your supernatural powers for bad is one thing but to discard your identity bcs power bad is so icky to me. I will never understand the korean fantasy obsession of a supernatural being turned to a human. Pisses me off every time. Like all sacrifices are inherently meant to be seen as a token of humility and noble. I fucking hate those two things as well.

Who doesn’t find the characters inconsistent. Before art change Isaac wasn’t aware he was in love now that he is aware, his bashfulness levels are through the roof. Its just a corny read bros.
After rereading it I realised its just meh at best. Their chemistry, smut, and story is on par with a shitty wattpad novel which i reckon is the case. Art change or not, for something thats named Dear Benjamin there wasn’t enough of my bro Big B. Its a shame i love action BL and clearly there was potential but it is what it is
I think it is because the old artist put so much into body language that made this story more than just bland. The new artist just isn’t on the same level and interprets things in a boring art way, like the blushing and crying and what not. Old Isaac was cool, new art Isaac… not so much
