Some of you guys need to grow up. It takes two to make a relationship work. If the vibe isn't right especially after a significant amount of time has past you do not need to have an explanation to leave someone. The real world isn't a fairytale. You find your own closer & move on.
That being said so many chapters were thrown at me i dont even know what to comment on first... A 10 year age gap is a lot to take in... especially when you're the older one. But Alex is going to keep Kangwoo young

Yes, stories need a touch of realism to be relatable, but i think it's an inherent fail as a writer if majority of your reader base absolutely hates your main character. No character needs to be perfect, but this is like next level of taking a piss on someone else, self-victimization syndrome, and letting someone else the consequences of it...
It's just not an enjoyable read, and overall thematically droll.

In all honesty whether it is a show or book people are always going to dislike whoever they want since they are entitled to their own opinions. You have to have a mature mindset to read this story & realize that their are many factors to take into consideration when dealing with a relationship.
Majority of people missed the point of the story. Jeonghan & Kangwoo both played apart in making the relationship fail. Your telling after 8 years their still in the same position in their relationship since when it first started? That relationship should have ended a long time ago & Gyutae did not break their relationship (you can't break something thats already broken).
I get Kangwoo was hurt but he should have realized the relationship was leading nowhere. If anything they both were victims of that relationship. Jeonghan didn't pass on anyone he just moved on. & Kangwoo needed consequences for his actions so that he would learn from his mistakes.

Not really my point... I wasn't referring to the content, but rather the structure being piss poor. It could have presented itself in a more approachable or endearing way (the negative reactions are entirely understandable, imo).
But to the matter at hand...
The relationship status quo is as you say, in regards to the plot of the story. Both were victims of a failing relationship, and both were at fault. That much is comprehensible---I think, to plenty of us.
But it kind of seems like you're chastising people for onesidedly taking only Kangwoo's side while not considering other factors...even though that might not necessarily be where the contention lies. Just like how relationships aren't simple, each reader comes from different walks of life, and I think they all have valid reasons for choosing one side or the other or reacting to the story their own way. Telling people to grow up is just somewhat invalidating someone else's take on the matter. Even if the commentary might be crude.
For example, not in the same circumstances as Kangwoo of course, but I have a neurologically atypical friend who cannot understand things like subtleties unless she is told and explained to. My relationship with her requires constant feedback communication, and empathy for her being wired differently. Therefore I take personal offense to some aspects of this story in relation to my own experiences.
So, it's not necessarily a matter of maturity. even though readers may (or may not) understand the point of the story, it can still be difficult to see eye to eye.
I personally, cannot endear myself to someone like Jeonghan, ever.

You know what you're right. Thanks for bringing that to perspective. I was in a complete different mindset when I first wrote that original post. I was disregarding other peoples take on the matter at hand. Honestly it was directed towards the people that were wishing Jeonghan & Gyutae death nevermind the fact that they aren't real people. Death is not something to take lightly among other things.
Nonetheless I completely understand where you're coming from & that being said.... Happy Reading

What color do you think Hwan's hair is?
-Thumb's Up Black
-Thumb's Down Blue
I'm trying to see something

Tbh I dont even know what that is? If you don't mind could you explain? Also I'm referring to their hair color. I've been browsing through the comments & people have a different idea of what Hwans hair color is & I just wanted to see what people were thinking what his hair color is. Also some people think Chiwoos hair is orange.
