It’s probably cause the first 6 chapters were completed as it was supposed to be a short story. But it looks like the author was able to make it into a longer story, probably cause people liked it

Yeah there is one, super interesting but I can’t remember the chapter. It’s much probably near 90 or 120. It’s after a 5 year timeskip.

Chu Wanning dies protecting Mo Ran which makes Mo Ran finally notice that he was wrong about his master so he embarks on a journey to retrieve Chu Wanning’s soul from the dead where he watches Chu Wanning’s memories of all the things he did for Mo Ran which makes Mo Ran finally realise just how wrong he was. He gets his soul and puts it back into his master’s body - but he has to wait 5 years for the soul and body to heal. Then the new arc begins where Mo Ran had gone through a 5 year journey of helping others, being more mature, and getting more attractive and Chu Wanning being shocked and confused at Mo Ram’s sudden advances towards him.
