i think it’s because ever since midoriya revealed he’s quirkless, bakugo has always gone around saying he hated him and that it would be better off for everyone if he died to the point where it’s actually believable. you have to take into consideration that midoriya and bakugo go way back which shows that no matter how many times he says it, he can never bring himself to actually hate midoriya. but i think that his dream was portrayed as midoriya being dead just to show him that his pride amounts to nothing without the person that has stuck by his side through everything, even through the acts he has been exposed to by his “best friend” and that he should be more appreciative of midoriya

Actually, Bakugou only wished for Deku to "disappear" -- the villain, who granted his wish, decided on killing Deku as the best way for him "disappear" from Bakugou's life.
This makes a lot of sense when Bakugou repeatedly shouts at the pro hero that he should also save Deku. But becoming shocked and horrified (ps. Here Bakugou made the same expression he made when he was kidnapped by the league) that the pro hero responds that he will prioritize the "living." Bakugou breaks down soon after in the next pages.

the lack of consent in this is troubling. When the ML gets all mad and punches his childhood friend all i could think was "damn my guy you basically did the same thing last week." Up until they ACTUALLY started dating, he did SO MUCh sexual stuff to him when he CLEARLY wasn't ok with it. this is a dumb trope.
True, this is my 2nd time reading this, cause it doesnt sit right at me, and yea it really did. The lack of consent bothered me, also how the seme just pushed himself is a no for me.
