oh my gosh this was so good! the characters were so solid, the story was consistent, AAAAAAAAA i loved every panel. i like how natural everything feels and jeez tsubaki is just so damn precious. i love them and i love them for each other huhu solid 10/10
there are definitely more fleshed out stories that work better in terms of the fated pair trope but this was really heartwarming and the characters were amazing, taiga is my fave because although he could have used a little more detail in terms of his redemption arc, his character was precious and i was definitely rooting for him
there are more chapters AAAAAAAAAAAA it is great but in the 5 times i've read this, i felt the ending sort of left me hanging, i just realized there's more!!! can't wait!
i've never read anything as beautiful and consistently mature as this. definitely a new fave!

AAAAAA i love this so much! i love how well developed the characters are and how it really brings you through the process of their journeys huhu, definitely one of my new faves!
I honestly think it was a decent story despite the ratings and the comments. Ryou was perfect! Yoshi made me wanna cry and cheer for him. It was such a sweet contrast to the first chapter and I loved it.
I understand why the sakumi-sugao storyline was there and I honestly feel fine about them ending up together. It just feels a little fast and unearned since their characters weren't fleshed out so much. We never really see any redeeming features of the sensei so I get why so many people didn't like it. He was an asshole in the beginning, never cared about anything, stayed trapped in his trauma, and he was still the only one pursued. He never did anything that made us feel slightly sympathetic so the backstory comes out as more of an excuse for his character than a traumatic experience that he struggles to let go of.
The story might have been better accepted if there was a bigger chance for sensei to reflect on his actions and learn his lesson (and maybe idk PROPERLY pursue sugao too, i feel for the guy). Anyway, it had a nice comeback despite the awful start. Yoshi and Ryou warmed my heart.
I hope to find more stories that give shitty semes and ukes more character and reflection/redemption.

oh my god, this was so good! the pacing was awesome, the characters were consistent, the development was ugh *chef's kiss*, it was just so so so so good! i haven't read any longer stories with such a consistent and interesting plot plus incredible characters and character development since hollow lovers. this was so mature in the themes and the process felt so natural. ian is precious and raymond, dear heaven, don't get me started. i LOVED the way he developed. it wasn't a sudden thing that he changed, he really held onto the things that motivated him in the beginning and it didn't feel forced how he ended up. (p.s. HE LOOKS HOT AF WITH THAT BEARD)
10/10 definitely would recommend. i don't usually like playboy type semes but god this one just feels so character woven. it didn't happen cause the "plot needed to progress", it was a natural thing and it served its purpose for better or for worse. ian is precious, so so precious i will never get over him, i love how he is so fleshed out and authentic and that he learns to make peace with himself.
AND I CAN'T LEAVE OUT MY FAVORITE PART NOW CAN I, MARTHA KILLING COUNT ROTHSILDT WAS JUST ICING ON THE CAKE!!! IT WAS DEFINITELY THE MOST GRATIFYING SCENE FOR ME - no, not bardi's death because even though that was incredibly satisfying, the build up and portrayal of everything martha worked for was more surprising. like, i didn't expect her to kill him and it was just so WOAH)
nicholas and kaya are super cute too huhu, that couple progression was just gold! not so in your face but definitely strong in chemistry. AND FRANCOIS, ugh brillliant man! love him sm.
also, fuck betty! fuck that princess! may karma treat them horribly.
