And for your comments on the uke's personality. LOL. The seme's personality isn't that well thought out either. It's funny that you chose to focus on the uke instead. This story was fast drawn and didn't have much development. Thus BOTH the seme and uke didn't get much personality.

But you chose to focus on the uke, why because he's kind? because he sacrifices himself? You just sound like those kind of people who simply prefer dark characters simply for being dark and thinking it's cool thus pure character simply gets hate. The uke actually showed development when he told the seme you should find your own love. The uke has gone through problems and we get to see how he handles it. All the seme has done is being wishy washy which is far less character strength than the uke.

When I say strength, I mean he is less fleshed out and does not have much dynamic. The seme is simply antagonistic for the sake of being antagonistic. But of course, it's the uke that doesn't have a well created personality. LOL.

I do acknowledge the fact the seme personality isn't well developed, I hate him too egoistic, not understanding, hurting the uke unnecessarily and you're right about something I do love dark characters, hell! bright out my psychopath, murderer, Yakusa, yankee in an abusive, incestuous relationship, bound by sadomasochism with a touch of parental abuse. Love dark characters because they are cool? Bruh, if I was superficial then you passed me by a lot. Dark characters are my favorite because they're broken, they have so many feelings in them. When they hate, they hate a lot they become what you call disgusting bastards. When they love, they love so much it's sickening. If they want to protect something, they'll become the most horrible monsters to do so. They're way different then your little uke in this story, not saying that it's bad tho. I will recognize that maybe bland was not the word I wanted to use to describe the uke. If the seme was a nice guy who smiled a lot and that actually didn't want to hurt the uke, I would have liked this uke a lot but that's not the case. The reason I don't read much shoujo is because is just like this story. Egoistic boy and defenseless girl who doesn't do much to help her case. And you're right, he did take courage and ask the guy to break off the engagement but common! I wrote the original comment with the plane and wedding panel in mind. This uke doesn't struggle much, like, bruh! You're leaving your almost dying aunt back in Japan, the reason why this all started. I know he can't do much, he's being forced is not like he can scape but at least struggle! Let this egoistic seme know that making you leave your aunt is the big deal breaker. But no, the author created him so he just blushes, cares way too much about other to a point it's ridiculous, and cries. Might as well make him blind and give a dead dog so we can pity him some more. Something else I want to say is that kindness isn't bad, I like kind characters a lot, but when you give kindness to a character as his only personality trait you destroy them. It's the same as just making a character smutty or just making them a scaredy cat. This makes them annoying and bland. Having one personality trait destroys them. And just so you know, I hate you, not because of your opinion but because when I saw your comment I didn't know what the fuck you were talking about so I had to go back and read this manga which is enough reason to hate anybody.

Volume 15 got extremely negative reviews on Amazon Japan.

It turns out the bad reviews were because it was called "final chapter" but had a non-ending. There were also complaints that her art style changed again & that she can;t possibly still be sick after all these years & should finish it properly.
