I don't get it. What's so special about being a law student?
In my country it's not even that hard to get into a high tier law school in some cases it's even harder to get into a design dept rather than law. Not trying to underestimating law student, but I cringed so hard at how they overly glorifying law student most of the time and act as if design dept is far below ( ̄∇ ̄")
I know that isn't the main premises of this manhwa, but still. . .

In some Asian countries, going to law school is a highly established dream, same with being a doctor or engineer—it probably stems from the notion of financial stability and title prestige (i.e., Dr. Smith, Engineer Smith, Prosecutor/Judge Smith).
Since the education's high in demand, the entrance exams are quite difficult. Schools do this to narrow down the best and get the ones that can maintain their rankings. It's like a whole system. So, yeah, I'd say it's pretty much a norm in other countries.

in asian countries, it’s harder to get a place in local universities to study law or medicine. a lot of parents aim for their kids to study law and medicine as well. fashion and design are not as sought after, which is why design students tend to study or work overseas to seek knowledge which is unavailable in their home countries.
