I didn't really have any expectations for this story to develop the way it did. I'm actually really surprised by the current emperor's development in all this. He's surprisingly mature and thoughtful about what actions he should take in order to win Gok over with his love. I love that he figured he was the reincarnated emperor from 100 years ago and refused to make the same mistakes he made then. That's completely different from how he was in the beginning of the story when he's seen murdering the women he sleeps with and putting his only child into a choke-hold.
This background story towards the start of their karmaic relationship is an experience. Gok was 17 and Wonje was 25 when they met...and it seems the attraction was immediate between them both. I cringe to think that it's going to get worse because of the older brother's doing.

This whole thing is a PSA on Stockholm Syndrome. I can't stand how this started, I can't stand how it continued, and I can't stand how any of this shitty behavior keeps developing. This bullshittery is beyond me. I get stories that use a tragic event to make the main characters evolve beyond it and form a healthy relationship... however... no, this isn't close to being healthy or redeemable. I can't help but think how Taiyo is going to suffer in life because of these assholes.

we saw an Omega fight back by biting a dick! Heck yeah, I'm proud of him! And what makes it better, after being blamed by the person he likes...my man straight up quits and walks out.
I LIKE YOU!!! I like where the author's head is on this too. Being mistreated is not a good thing. Alphas in stories need to be held accountable for their disgusting behavior towards Omegas.

Well yeah, he's a shitty snob... (or as Tsugumi would call, a Shitty Alpha) who doesn't respect Omegas. But you have to expect things to turn out to where both of these people would end up together because that's what the general makeup of the story is pointing at. It's supposed to be a story where the Alpha stops being a dick to this Omega. Where this Omega isn't someone you can walk all over. He's in love, that doesn't mean he's to be treated like trash. So just take the journey of their development as something to look at. It's a story meant to have drama in it.

I was down with Param hooking up with Taehyun. I actually wanted to see more instances of Han hitting on Param, hard. However after seeing how innocent Hwi is and how he gets turned on by Param...especially after that odd scene where Han is having sex with someone in order to fantasize about Param...I'm pretty much rooting for Hwi and Param now. At least they can be themselves when they're around each other. The pressure isn't the same as a having a relationship with your superior from work.
Also, when Han joined the gym and dropped that line about Hwi being so handsome that he'd even attract beginners...he's been giving me stalker vibes. So I'm wondering how far he'll go to get Param.

I prefer Yaoi. I can't stand the way women are written like this. It's always the same "child-like" treatment where a woman lets the guy do whatever he wants to her, and she's so "innocent and kind" that she doesn't retaliate at all and just let him do his thing again.
This gets on my nerves.
I dig sexual tension in stories, but how characters are written or developed is just as meaningful.
She could have shown some actual backbone when Maa was doing Ms. Inoue. That was a really telling moment of how shallow this guy is. But no. She let that slide and instead decides she's in love because he's always feeling her up. Pure nonsense!
I know it's fiction....but these women are always written as some vapid little girl.
is the type of guy who publicly states that he's not interested in male Omegas, when in fact, he's doing everything he can to keep Yeon Woo by his side, even kissing him when in private.
Oh Keith.
