I have to say I dropped it after Chang raped Ed. Like. It felt out of character and I just really didn't even want to see Ed and McQueen get back together. Absolutely not shade to the author or the amazing translation team and uploaders. I just don't think this was for me. (and I know not everything is catered to everyone)
But still, hearing everyone talk about how amazing this is made my expectations too high, I suppose. If you're looking for a sweet love story.. I don't think this will hit that box for you, either. (Don't get me wrong, I love physiologist bls.. this was just an actual pimp trying to be repainted as a good guy. Also McQueen making a movie with Ryan reenacting a real-life rape and objectifying it truly ruined his character for me.)
