so what i think what happened is that mc or mc and seme killed semes parents, which obviously is traumatic so MC forgot it and has hallucinations because of trauma. They both told eachother they would stay together forever and never tell a sould but then MC got adopted and forgot over the years and that's why seme was upset and there's also this kind of dependency between them
