Apparently, the friend has always been somewhat jealous of Lucia?! (if I'm not wrong) and she made the manhwa where she portrayed herself as the female lead and made the villainess resemble Lucia. I don't know how she entered the story but I think she wanted to live her story as a reality(she was the first one to enter the book and that was intentional) but she didn't know that Lucia from the real world would end up getting in the book too. That's why she is hiding.
You may also check the old chapters where the friend was first introduced and she had a bizarre look during the scene, she was also saying that the scene is not playing according to her story. She is a strange woman.
I think it's bc she planned for the oglucy to be kidnapped that's why she's shocked when Lucy appeared at the garden party bc she wasn't supposed to be there to begin with. Also explains how she got rid of her own copy (ogfl) by intercepting the mail & taking her place in the city. She wanted to jump start the story she wrote without issues

It says "season 3 finale" so I understood that just finale for season 3. Is season 3 the last one??!!
He did say season 3 FINALE. However over the years he's mentioned a couple of times that the story was only going to have 3 seasons. I would love it if he changes his mind and pushes it through to a fourth. Because as short as the chapters are at times I don't see how you can wrap everything up nearly in one season. Just my opinion.
