Yea, for me I am of age, but every time I hear about people, who have been abused in that way, I just think about the likely time, when they start having mental problems because of trauma. When you are young- I myself am still young- the magic number 18 doesn't exist. You don't change overnight. I remember a read about an interview or a report. I don't remember. about a young boy who was raped by his teacher and the title was saying paraphrased because I can't remember "Female teacher had sex with a boy" with the hottest picture they could find of the rapist. How the boy at the time thought it was cool and great, that he got to bang his teacher, but then developed depression. It just seems so unfair. There too were comments, how the boy was lucky, or how they wished that they were him, and so on.
Yes it is, age has nothing to do with consent. What’s sad is that bc they’re at such a young age, they probably do not understand what it means to give consent and not give consent and a lot of adults who were raped as kids by their friend/classmate/girlfriend/boyfriend/ or a stranger only realized in their adulthood that what they experienced was either sexually harassment or rape

i dont know why this has turned into a topic of rape, sexual harassment, mental trauma etc- people grow up differently, in different environments and areas, experience and learn things differently- he could have thought it would be a cool thing to have sex at a young age- we don't know and honestly we shouldn't judge his life because of his age and that was his to live. it has passed and he is a successful man now...
he also didn’t seem to have bad thoughts on losing his virginity at a young age- if he was raped or mentally traumatized- we would have seen more depressing side instead.
