beautiful but too sad of an ending for me. Or too bittersweet i suppose. Definitely not a reread. Too many stories feel like they force the bittersweet ending to express some deeper meaning when the characters could easily just be happy, and this is one of them for me. Just not the kind of fiction i like or indulge in much. If bittersweet is your cup of tea, this is for you. But if you like a robust happy ending after enduring a sad story, dont expect that here.
