These comments are making me wonder if we're reading the same manhwa.
The main thing Daun has done wrong is the under the table leg thing when Areum was here, and being annoying sometimes (at least as a way of making Seula flustered). Manipulative??? That's a bit of a stretch. Any chance she could have had to ACTUALLY be manipulative, she has not taken. She could have extorted Seula for sex (that has definitely happened in BL manhwa many times and I see none of y'all mfs have a problem with that), and yet she didn't. It seems she has had a crush for years and is quite literally just trying to get closer to her crush and get her to like her. Is the meticulous? Yeah, but I wouldn't say manipulative, especially considering they took the secret keeping out of the equation and they're just hanging because they enjoy each other's company.
Also is Seula an idiot? Yeah. But she's not that much of a malicious idiot. She almost made a mistake while drunk which thankfully was averted, but to say that she's *selfish* for *having a crush and acting like it*??? Now that's crazy. She's been trying to be so damn supportive even if she's not giving the ideal advice right now because she's stuck between telling Areum to question her marriage which can be seen by others as selfish and an attempt to sabotage her if they knew of her feelings, or be supportive of the marriage even if it needs to be questioned in this situation.
Touch some grass y'all... Or come back and read this after your frontal lobe's finished developing because ik some of y'all are kids on here

Is it entertaining? Yeah, in a way, if you really really suspend your disbelief or need for plot. You can really, REALLY tell this was written by a woman, and not just any woman: a woman who just wanted to get paid and get it over with. The ML having such an enormous ripped body without working out???? The anal without any preparation and no bleeding?????
This is science fiction, someone add the science fiction tag please.

OKAY. It has been months of me reading this manhwa and skimming through the comments and I'm at my LIMIIIIIT.
They're both bad at communicating. It's a fact, regardless of who you simp for. What I cannot accept are the people absolutely DOGPILING on Jungwon out of literal delusion. Here are examples of his most common criticisms and why they're bullshit:
1. He should tell Hyesung how much he liked his bigger body!!! He made Hyesung change!!!!
What the fuck. Did we read the same manhwa? Jungwon has been adamant about not wanting Hyesung to lose weight and loving him the way he is. Hyesung decided he was going to lose weight out of his own insecurities, leading to the next criticism:
2. Jungwon is such an ass!! Why can't he just make larger clothes and have Hyesung model them?? He basically forced Hyesung to diet so that he wouldn't pick his ex.
Beloved. My sweeties. My sweet summer children. Jungwon is a fashion STUDENT in KOREAAAAAAA. They are under very VERY strict guidelines and fashion rules as STUDENTS. It's not just about being creative in university, it's adhering to industry standards and what your professors expect. If he has any plans of making plus-sized fashion in the future, he's going to have to actually finish college and make a name for himself in such an especially conservative industry, it being Korea and all.
3. He's sooo ugly~~
You're what's wrong with this world. Log off. Just say you're a bully and go ridicule people you see as less because of how they look.

It's gotten to a point they are making stuff up - literally writing a whole new character - to just make Jungwon bad. Stick to the freaking story and recognize the details, not selectively pick what you want to hate and make stuff up that is not related to how the character was written.
Basically wishing Jungwon to cheat? Seriously? The guy is head over heels for Hyesung. And barely has time due to his project. How the fuck will the guy cheat? Jungwon unconsciously blocked the senior's flirting. That's how Jungwon is stupidly in love with Hyesung.
Jungwon did the most stupid things just to stop Hyesung from losing weight yet he's still a bitch ass not appreciating Hyesung's body. Math is not mathing. How is 1 +1 = 0? It's so dumb.

Oh I never said he didn't. That's true, at least initially he was thirsting after that bod and newsflash: that ain't a crime. The communication issues I mentioned in the beginning of my rant on Jungwon's side pertain to him not expressing to Hyesung that he loves him regardless of the sex, which is the impression Hyesung has because they dO nOt TaLk (I don't blame Hyesung much though, overthinker moment)

i understand what you mean, but the way he acts it really doesnt seem as if he loves him for anything other than sex. its like he just wants him to stay the version of himself that he in his sexual fantasies and that isnt right. i also understand where youre coming from when you say they don’t communicate because i see that too and its annoying asf as a reader but to tell your boyfriend who has been really REALLY wanting to be your model that you’re just going to make two different outfits and see which is better is kinda weird. i understand where he’s coming from, but the way it’s delivered was gross. ALSO jungwon’s character just makes it seem like he only wants hyesung for his image and sex. even in the past few chapters.

But I would also say, Jungwon was also having a gut feeling that Hyesung is wanting to lose weight for a different reason - not because he actually wanted to, say for sports. That accounts for something - meaning Jungwon thinks there's no need to change what isn't broken, especially if it's because of jealousy or something else. That's why he's insisting Hyesung to stop because he feels Hyesung is keeping something from him, the real reason he wants to lose weight. Sure, this would all end if he just confronts Hyesung about it but I think he also mentioned that he didn't want to overstep incase he were wrong or something. So he just resorted to convincing him in other ways.
On making two outfits, I don't know what how you want him to say it.
And just wanting Hyesung for his body - sure, at first, but would he give time to go to his tournament if he really was just in it for sex? Despite being super busy. Also drag him to a fashion show if he's in anyway embarrassed to be with him, given that was an event outside school. And in the latest chapter, outright saying he misses him and insisted on going to Hyesung's match, despite his looming deadline and dead tired. Jungwon might not be the most affectionate person, and is a sex fiend on top of that but he's reciprocating and is making the effort.

I don't care that Cirrus lied about how invested he was in the grind of getting Skylar, what Skylar just said was EFFED THE FUCK UP. How would you like being put down by the person you love for your shitty childhood in public???? I'm just hoping this is one of those situations where Skylar returns to his place, thinks, and realizes how ROYALLY he screwed up. Like after the feelings subside, the realization better hit him like a brick.

Obviously he won't. Like all the people that defend Skylar and blame Cirrus for everything.
Not saying Cirrus has done well, maybe is just me that since the begining Cirrus actions screams 'someone help me, i need attention'. And is funny because Skylar knew it, he realized that through the story in many situations many times, yet he choose to be with him to later ignore, deny his feelings and hurt him using Cirrus's trauma and insecurities. He makes me angry and Cirrus's too, i feel bad for them but Cirrus makes me sad.

Of course the author had to make the evil pedo teacher fat and ugly, how else are you to signify someone is bad but have an appearance you don't find attractive and you can easily make fun of! Wowee!
I'm just sick of this damn trope, it perpetuates the idea that beautiful people can't be creepy/pedos/etc which is dangerous. Stop acting in the comment like she's evil because she's ugly and overweight, jfc she's a pedophile. "Burnt bacon" this, "Pigpen" that, if the victim was overweight as well would you be slinging these insults so casually??? Wtf

The author probably did that so (some of) the reader's won't romanticize that teacher to the victim/s or justify the things they do because they look good or maybe average..? Don't get me wrong it's still bad to always make the creepy characters plus size and unattractive, but hope you get my point>_< (also, the peeps in the comsec should hate her for being a weird ass pedo and not always just point out her appearance..

I agree, I don't think I've ever read anything with a pedo or a creep that is painted as wrong where they're hot. I feel like authors love to draw villains 'ugly' to show that if you're a bad person you're also ugly outside and it also creates a space where the commenters and the characters can now insult their weight, appearance and everything.
But also, when villains are drawn hot, people go out of their way to justify, sexualised, glorify or just ignore their behaviour.
I kind of always imagined A Small Miracle as a short middle-aged chubster, not an absolute HOTTIE with a MULLET(?)
tbh hes such a cheery lil guy he deserves to be cute
justice for sleep deprived overworked cutie pie mingi
Hey I never said he wasn't cute. I always saw him as a cute lil dude regardless
Nah cause same, why is he so hot
Lmao this is exactly what I imagined him too
