well someone should lock her up instead of ruining her child and herself together..
isnt it better to suffer alone than dragging people into ur misery?? what shes doing is disgusting cuz shes giving a 7?8? y/o child the responsibility of acting in a particular way so she wouldnt suffer..she is making him lose himself for her own well being..its selfish and plain disgusting..idc is shes mentally illl...it doesnt justify what shes doing...

She isn't disgusting, She's mentally ill and traumatized by her daughters death. It's the same situation that the mother has from "Beware of the brothers" neither of the parents were capable of accepting or acknowledging their daughters deaths so they portray someone else or hallucinate that their daughters are still alive. Julian dressed as Angelina so of course with the mothers mental illness, She'd believe that it's Angelina. Honestly, He did the wrong thing by pretending to be her. He should've seaked help for his mother instead of feeding her more lies by pretending to be his dead sister. Of course, He'd get beaten otherwise. Neither of them are 100% at fault. The mother is mentally ill and Juliana is Still just a clueless child who had to suffer. It's really sad that you call a mentally Ill person "A disgusting parent" when she doesn't have control over it. I don't know how you think mental illness works but, It isn't something you can just control.

u cant blame julian..when his mom woke up after beingill after angelinas death.he was wearing his own clothes yet she called out to him as angelina..she was the first one who refused to see julian as julian...he thought she would get better if she dressed up s angelina..and guess what?? she did get better...
for a 7/8 y/o that is like a miracle so he thought that was the right thing to do...and NOONE corrected him...

Because, if that's so, in your words, the victim (a 6-8 year old at that) a kid who just lost his sister and is mourning and blaming himself, who's mother is clearly mentally ill and should be protected from is at fault for succumbing the constant abuse he was through and was FORCED (yes forced) to live as his dead twin who he is still mourning.
And just to be clear he DID ASK FOR HELP: he went to the duke, and asked him to help his mother because she was sick, but the duke, his own father, the only adult who could help in this situation SLAPPED HIS HAND AWAY (literally). So no, I do not agree with your premise that the victim shares even an ounce of the total percentage of the responsibility, or that the fact that a mental illness totally and completely exonerates you of your faults. ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ

What the hell? She isn't "dragging her son into this" she can't control it. She isn't purposely trying to harm him. She really just wants her damn daughter back. You clearly don't understand what mental illness is if you think she's ruining her sons life. She isn't herself, It's uncontrollable. We have all seen that the Dutchess is a nice person. I bet a lot of other people don't know about what's happening. Only the maids, Butlers and servants might know at most but what can they do? They can't tell anyone. They'd get fired and probably die for saying something like that about someone in such a high position. People around them can't say or do anything. You should understand it isn't as easy as that. When you're mentally unstable, Usually you can't control what you do. Your illness usually just acts for you. In her case, Julian acting like Angelina is feeding her illness more and more. She isn't in her right state of mind so she can't control herself. It's her illness kicking in when she's with Julian because she seems him as her daughter. They do look very similar and with her hallucinating and trying to give the role of Angelina to someone, Julian is the best choice. You should go research because you obviously don't know what you're talking about. It's sad that Julian has to act like Angelina but, He still should've told someone if he knew that his mom wasn't in the right state of mind. I know it isn't easy but it's what needs to be done. Her parenting isn't bad, It's her mental illness. She's actually a very kind person when she isn't in her state of illness.

There is a 15 years gap between my parents and they had an arrange marriage instead of love so in a way it is also contract. He is doing all that to protect her so it is fine.
