Aww..... I'm so sad for the second couple This exceeded my expectations. I'm kinda glad that I decided to let this marinate coz I wouldn't have been able to be patient for 4 years. What a journey for the og readers out there. Finally decided to dig at my to read list instead of searching for a new one and I can’t believe it took me so long to do so. I held off bc I dislike how most manhuas I have read are kind of ~unserious? In the translation style if that makes sense and it feels very light hearted with a lot of chibis and kinda stilted even with official translations. This one was def not like that. It was a drama with great world building, characters that didn’t feel two dimensional, and antagonists that u ended up feeling sorry for. Overall a 10/10 only wish the mortal x immortal side couple could have had a reincarnation for the one that died (also was confused if the teacher died or not). Ok, I really don't get why multiple people kept saying that they'd rather just skip to the side stories. I found this to be decently written honestly. Although it would've been different story if the MC & ML never went back in time, obviously. I know that other people can have opinions, I was frustrated at first as well, but it got better. I feel like most of I see commenting such opinions came from tiktok vids and expected this to be fully omegaverse so they never got over it--losing patience yk (so I do get it then lol) Anyways, I admire this story a lot. Even though it isn't a unique plot, and predictable at times, the author pulled it off since it wasn't milked. Frustrating enough, but so fulfilling once you get that slither of hope. One of the best I've read in some time where I was genuinely so immersed in the plot. Glad I gave it a chance. Author never disappoints <3 I'll be honest, I actually liked this story lol there are way worse characters out there, these characters' acts of selfishness are nothing compared to other stories, the drama was also pretty enjoyable and not dragged out to the point of being annoying.
