Akira looks like a boy. Makota sometimes cross dresses as a girl. You guys. There's love there, I can feel it. But Akira is going to kill me with her denseness. See the love~ feel the love~ It's looooooooove. It's straying away from typical shoujo enough that it's a refreshing read. Chapters are too short; but I guess that's good that it leaves me wanting more. ~ ^^
Sabaku No Harem
Oh gosh. What to say about this manga. It has good art; shoujo-ish. This is one of the better shoujos with a pretty good plot even if sometimes okay most times predictable, the one thing that really bothers me, though, is...HE HAS OTHER WIVES BESIDES FOR MISHE. And I totally get that he's a prince and whatnot and is allowed to have concubines, but smh, uh uh I'm a monogamous kind of gal. I've been kind of ignoring it bc it does feel like he favors Mishe, but as more chpaters move on, I really wish he would just have Mishe as his wife and let the others go. Come on bro, I know you're hot, but don't players just end up breaking hearts.
Kokoro Note
It's the embodiment of shoujo. Similar to the stories that made me fall in love with shoujo manga. It's these kinds of mangas that made me believe I would find a guy while I was in school and we would have a fantastical love. Well, turns out, if I wanted such a love, I also needed the courage that Hana-chan had. It makes me wonder, if I had confessed, would I be living the shoujo life now?
Koe koi
Yoshioka-san misses her first day of high school bc of a cold but the class rep Matsubara-kun calls and Yoshioka-san is entranced by the caring voice. Their first encounter is startling as she finds Matsubara-kun wears a bag over his head. Tbh I think she's lying if she says she's not curious about why he wears a bag over his head; but, I think she is nice enough to respect his eccentricity and not ask. School life shoujo romance.
One Week Friends
I loved it; especially the artwork. One of my favorite art styles. It's a slow paced slice of life story about friendship and love and life.

Kekekkek this is the romance I wanted in high school. Delinquent guys are totally hot and would've definitely complimented the serious me.
