One of the stories that left a weight in my chest. The type you feel sitting very heavy in your heart but it's not like you feel like crying. You're just... there. Feeling. I like how all the characters are far from perfect and are all faulty in their own ways. This just makes it feel more realistic and maybe that's why it had such an impact on me. Because the characters were very human, faults and all. I love the story and how it was tackled. Not the best ending we could have but the realest ending we could ever get. That's part of this story's charm. Saw thsi comment Ts actually so fucking peak !!!!! I love how love isn't portrayed in this fairytale-like pedestal and actually shows that love is a commitment. It's been awhile since I've read this, but the emotional impact I felt months ago has left an imprint on my soul. I don't exactly remember the contents. If you asked me what happened in this manhwa, I wouldn't be able to tell you a single event that happened throughout the entire series. All I remember is how I felt while reading this. And honestly, what a fucking cinema. I personally hate stories that drag out the whole "first love" element. This super epic series used the element I hate the MOST in the best way possible. I've never felt so emotionally connected to a manhwa before (I'm lying, forgive me but this is what I truly feel at the moment). All it took was one click in a chapter I bookmarked to feel this overwhelming sense of nostalgia wash over me. I remember being so hooked that I literally cried all night over this after finishing it. This story feels so realistic; it feels like reading my life if I were a gay dude dealing with unrequited love and finally finding the love that stays. MAN I LOVE THIS. The time and effort poured into each characters makes me wanna jump into a lake with warm piss (in a good way). The characters feel so real. You can really feel their emotions behind the screen. It's easy to cheer for all of them, it's hard to hate any of the characters because they're all somewhat relatable. This is a story full of hate, desperation, and love. How life is perceived in the human way. Truly an epic read. Would definitely read again if given the time. Bro kulang nlng maglagay author dito na based on true story maniniwala tlga ako kseee wadahilll Its so bittersweet yet realistic in so many points Like the hardships of personal and family lives Jin and heechans personality being so consistent yet lovable Ung banayad na flow ng plot, and how not much conflict was shown cuz the conflict was their whole ordeal Since parang ung timeline nila makaluma, same sex is still not opened by the society. Thats why ganyan ung kinalabasan ng ending But it reminds us how it is for so many queer people in the world where being gay is not seen as normal or is not accepted. We read a lot of yaoi where everything is always fine and well at the end, but the reality of gay couples sometimes is you can be in a happy relationship and be shunned by society I liked how just like the indie melodrama movie jinhyuks father made and they watched, its like the whol story and their lives where also indie like and melodramatic coming of age themed Love this

WHEN I TELL YOU THIS IS CINEMA YES THIS IS CINEMA!!! While im reading this I cant believe i let my spotify play contionusly and it was all random BUT BRO I WAS SURPRISED HOW THE DISCOGRAPHY 200% matched the scenes brooo I WAS CRYING HOW THIS WAS JUST TOO GREEN FLAG AND TALKED ABOUT FEELING IN SOME WAY, how an environment can really shape a person. That both gree up in an opposite way in terms of dealing with feelings, so both showed each other healing and LOVE I CANT WITH THIS I THOUGHT WITH YKNOW THE KAYOUT IT WOULD JUST BE PHRE SMUT BUT NO THIS IS A GEM so alot of criticism comes from Daiki lacking self control but i think it's more about what kind of environment he surrounded himself with, all his fault btw i'm not justifying it but i'd like to point out that it was all consensual and that's not something to applaud it's still something to take note of.
