Awful just awful. I don’t blame mc for anything, everyone was well aware of his mental condition and they did nothing to help him… The mom was an awful human being and nobody can convince me otherwise. She abandoned him time and time again, and then she acts without thinking of mc. Ml should’ve introduced himself better when they met again, you’re telling me in those five years he spent looking for him, not once did he think of learning about his depressive disorder???? The only reason I’m rating this 2 stars is because the mc really does try to better himself BUT HE WAS THE ONLY ONE TRYING!!!!!! Ugh ml and mom pmo so much.

Concealment

Complete | Boy Season , Han | 2000 released

Enoch is adopted as a kid by a man he calls “master” and he uses Enoch as his muse for art. Enoch was never picked before because he is mute. When Enoch is older his master dies in a freak accident and his son inherited the house. Little did the son know that Enoch was there and he decided to keep him to himself. Enoch tries to run from him but eventually gets caught and is inevitably raped. He then gaslights himself into thinking it’s fine as long as the son deems him as “useable”. He just wants to be loved and the son takes advantage of that. Kind of sad actually and it sucks that it’s a short story.

The Beast Must Die

Complete | Lee hyeon sook | 2019 released

SPOILERS: Kirin is trying to avenge his sister’s death. She was drugged, raped, and the cops didn’t do a damn thing because the family of the guys involved were wealthy and had connections. Kirin finds out about a secret club that was involved in his sisters death and meets Kang Moo. He asks Kang Moo to pretend to date him in order to get access to the club. The club asks to “gangbang” Kirin as an initiation ritual but Kang Moo compromises by suggesting he has sex with Kirin in front of them (a way to humiliate Kirin). Most of the guys in the group die (thanks to Kang Moo) and then Kang Moo later reveals that this has been his plan all along. Turns out the group/club was actually his but after he moved abroad the good guys left and the bad ones stayed and did horrible things and essentially ruined the club reputation. Kang Moo was curious about Kirin because KangMoo had met Seorin (Kirin’s sister) before she committed suicide and he found it strange and fascinating how much she talked about her brother and how she thought she could help him live a normal life as a psychopath. She started sending him books when he moved abroad and he sent her pictures of Kirin. Kang Moo lost contact with her and he had assumed that she just got bored and moved on to another person but that wasn’t the case. After she passed Kang Moo—being the psychopath that he is—came up with a plan to lure Kirin in and trap him in his sick and twisted game of cat and mouse. There’s murder, crime, corruption and betrayal all around. Kang Moo also tracks Kirin throughout the entire story lmao. He’s truly dedicated to keeping his prey safe—because if anyone’s going to kill him, it’ll be him. Such a bittersweet ending— not really a happy ending but they do end up together. Kang Moo will most likely not get better (maybe when he’s grey and old.. if he makes it that long) and Kirin will live a life riddled of anxiety.

A Room Without Window

Complete | Dacto gongji, story&,art | 2022 released

A good story about the apocalypse. Honestly too tired to summarize this so I’ll summarize the summarization. Mc forgets apocalypse, think ML is evil, tries to get out but finds out world is apocalypse. Mc sad and mad. ML physiologically 10 year old. ML strong physically because parents raised him to be apocalypse trained. They love happy in apocalypse paradise.

Dead man Switch

Complete | Coinmint , Eise | 2019 released

The only reason I’m giving this four stars because I’m emotionally attached to the characters and the plot was sort of good. I’m confused as to why the author rushed the ending though :/ there’s so many unanswered questions that would’ve really tied the story together but they didn’t which sucks and leaves it lacking and it feels unfinished. MC wakes up after finals and realizes he’s been asleep for a couple of days after his project. When he turns his phone on— his friends are asking if he’s okay which leaves him utterly confused about what happened while he was asleep. Then he realizes there’s been some kind of disease outbreak and everyone turned into zombies. He then meets ML which right off the bat ML starts screaming at him BECAUSE Mc doesn’t recognizing him. They explore and get far and Mc later find out that ML has been experiencing déjà vu and it’s somehow connected to MC. In the end they escape (not after almost dying like a million times) just to be met by hostile military force who try to kill them, but they don’t! Then it cuts to them at the hospital and they finally beat the curse ??
