i like the misunderstanding angst in this one a lot. but tbh i feel like it wasn't a good conclusion for all that angst. like uke and seme have liked each other since high school. seme actually followed uke to university and then did military service same time as him. uke just liked seme and thought it was all a great coincidence. they actually kissed once when both were drunk during a school trip. uke thought it was a dream and seme was kinda mad uke acted so distant after it. now in uni they are still kinda friends. seme starts being aggressive about being close with uke. uke kinda likes it and takes what he can get to be with seme. for some reason they start a weird physical thing, but then seme backs off and they just date a lot. uke still thinks they might be friends with benefits. then uke agonizes over seme with another girl. but that's just his cousin. then seme agonizes over uke with a girl on a trip..... but that's just uke's sister.... and then all of a sudden seme is filled with rage and explodes at uke. uke is not sure what's going on but kinda gets that seme likes him. so he goes to confess and they get together. this solution to their misunderstandings didn't feel that satisfying tbh. i wanted a more hurtful misunderstanding and maybe a more drawn out conclusion. the pacing of the story is a bit fast at times lol. and then the rest of the story is them being together which is cute. but then seme is kinda overly possessive and controlling. and kinda rapey....

finished on cn site. it's super cute. https://boyboy.cc/cat_intro/34882 they were great friends in high school and both liked the other but neither says anything. one day uke says how he wants to marry this cold seme from a novel. seme starts thinking uke only likes that type of guy and aims to be like that. he even goes to usa to study and becomes a ceo. he plans their meeting again like 8 years later, standing in a bookstore he knows uke goes to a lot. right away uke is friendly and wants to reconnect. seme invites him home after drinking and drugs him and fucks him............ and uke is kind of okay with it but a bit bewildered by seme's change. he sees some pills hidden on seme's bookshelf and thinks seme is addicted and that's why he's different. he vows to stay by seme and heal him back to how he was before. a whole fucking year passes like this and it hurts to see uke be turned down all the time when he suggests stuff and wants to do stuff to help seme. uke is fed up and wants to quit. seme thinks he needs to turn up the cold seme role and says shit like when has your opinion mattered, shut up and spread your legs. uke cries. seme is like omg why are you crying i thought you liked cold semes. uke is like what and seme explains it all and uke thinks he's silly and actually just like before. they have sex and reconcile. honestly a great take on the cold seme in this anthology lol cuz seme here is actually a huge cute dummy.
