Ch. 22 The Demon King led his army of demons to wipe out the human race. The Hero, Kail, and his allies attacked the Demon King's castle to defeat the Demon King. As Kail's life ebbs away in the Demon King's chamber, he notices a strange gem that the Demon King had coveted and approaches this relic to grab it; after an intense light glows, he is sent years into the past. After a mission gone awry, the doubtful main character, Rood, is sent to a famous magic school, Helios. Here, he must protect an important person's son who has a very bad time at the school.

Ch. 83 Katagiri Yuichi believes that friends are more important than money, but he also knows the hardships of not having enough funds. Katagiri and his best friends will have to succeed in psychological games that will test or destroy their faith in one another.

The story is about class 3-E of Kunugigaoka Middle School, where every morning they greet their teacher with a massive firing squad. The teacher is a weird combination of an alien and a octopus that moves at speeds of mach-20. It turns out this creature was responsible for the destruction of the moon, rendering it forever in a crescent shape. He has announced that he will destroy the world in one year. The creature will teach class 3-E how to assassinate him before the year is over.

The story follows the "strongest juvenile delinquent," Oga Tatsumi as he watches over the demon king's son (AKA the future demon king, nicknamed Beel) with the destruction of the world hanging in the balance.
