ONE OF MY FAVORITES!!! and for good reason, too. sheesh. i love them and i’ve always been looking forward to these updates ever since i started reading this story back in november of 2020! man, we’ve had some good times. so wholesome!!! and these character are pretty fucking admirable, too.

This was simply wonderful! Where to even start? (I’ll keep it short...) I loved getting to see these characters slowly grow into this beautiful, wholesome couple. (A true slow-burn.) Not only that, but the way they grew as individuals, too... Even the side characters!!! It was executed so nicely. It was truly a joy from start to finish. And the comedic aspects? G O L D E N. I live for clichés. Especially well-written ones. The art was spectacular, too! I’ve got nothing bad to say about it. And, well, to sum things up, I’m so glad I found this one. I’ll definitely be rereading it one day!

i’m loving this. really creative and unpredictable, can’t wait to see what’ll happen! i mean… it’s ridiculous how freakin’ epic this is. frankly speaking, i’m borderline obsessed at this point, lol. this damn quality… it’s basically graphic novel paradise, really. y’all would be crazy not to check this out. edit: bro, it’s basically scripture at this point. i can’t. ;–; (this is available on the webtoon app for free, by the way!!! head over there and support the creator.) edit: WORDS. CANNOT. EXPRESS. HOW. GOOD. THIS. STORY. IS. that shitty excuse of a review doesn’t even scratch the surface. it’s intelligent. intrinsic. COMPLEX. this is simply one of those stories which cannot be overlooked, and it certainly deserve a MUCH better review than the one i just gave you. seriously, it’s an embarrassment. there’s so, soooo much more i could say about its greatness, creativity and overall quality… but my brain’s not really “braining” these days, so i’m gonna have to take a raincheck on that. ( ‘ ❛ ֊ ❛)

THIS. IS. SO. RIDICULOUSLY. GOOD!!! very well-written. definitely a new favorite! i’m seriously struggling to put down my phone and go to sleep. it’s way too enthralling for that!!! goddammit. anyway. this MC of ours is so freakin’ lovable, too! imagine being, like, the scariest, most capable warrior in the world… and all you want to do is help other people and just be ‘normal’, as he so graciously puts it. jang kirin is a truly amazing guy. i’d marry him in a heartbeat if given the opportunity. such loyalty, care and authenticity is quite rare to come by… i adore this ‘family’ he’s slowly building for himself, too! jang kirin deserves the world. i hope he one day receives it. <33

i’m so, soooo fucking turned on right now, man… it’s low-key scary at this point, not gonna lie. i’m such a fucking perv, ugh. anywayyyy, the smut is RIDICULOUSLY sexy, and i’m really, really, reaaaally enjoying these developments! i also quite like their dynamics and their strangely ‘cute’ relationship. (yes, i do realize that this is toxic as fuck. shut up, don’t @ me.) i mean, even though we started out with forced prostitution and all that other SA shit, i was surprised by their respective attitudes and behaviors towards each other. there’s nothing stereotypical about this, and i appreciate that! but yeaaaah, i truly have no idea what i should be expecting to see down the line. i’m sensing an ever slowly-but-steady growing relationship between our two mains—especially since they already seem to have grown kind of attached (?) to each other. ughhh, i just HAVE to express my enthusiasm for the art itself!! fuck, man, it’s just beautiful. pure gorgeousness. i’m really, really liking this manhwa! P.S. i’d never condone SA or abuse of ANY kind, for any reason… but i do genuinely enjoy reading this mess—toxicity and all. however, if you can’t separate dark romantic fiction from actual reality, this story isn’t the one for whoever’s reading this. if i ever encountered a couple with a relationship like theirs in real life, i’d call the cops and run for the hills. IT’S. NOT. REAL. it’s sexually graphic, and pretty damn disturbing at times—especially in the beginning and the first 10 chapters or so. (i’m technically not disturbed by their sex at all anymore. lol. it appears to be both consensual and ‘enjoyable’ for both parties at this point.) still, i’m a psycho on the low. don’t listen to anything i say… unless you’re as morally ambiguous as i am, i guess. k thanks, bye. xoxo

woooow. it’s been ages since i actually binge-read something in one sitting. (well, technically two sittings if you count the fact that i was unfortunately forced to go to sleep before being able to finish it.) either way, i’m completely BLOWN. AWAY. by this amazing work of art. i’d almost go as far as to call it a perfect story. (quite the biased and ambitious statement, i know.) i really liked her ‘unofficial’ redemption arc! she really didn’t actively TRY to be a better person with that goal in mind; its more like she realized that she wasn’t all bad to begin with. it was just wonderful watching her slowly gain insight about herself, as well as coming to similar realizations about other people as well. kasia really didn’t seem to think of herself as someone worthy of anything but pain and misery… depressingly enough, she only ever saw herself as a tool which could be used, abused and discarded at any point in time. and this was the reality for quite some time, at that! but bro, i LOVED watching her character change and grow into someone truly admirable and dependable! someone who eventually figured out how to value things; how to love, how to laugh and how to appreciate life itself. reading this manhwa has been a truly wonderful experience for me personally. i was quite moved at times. i grew quite attached to these characters, it’d seem! but ugh, man!!! all this character development, i kid you not. it’s been great. and not just for her, but for most of these guys! and ughhh, ernon owns a part of my heart. he’s a close favorite, right next to kasia. i adored this guy and he deserves the whole wide world. (i’m pretty sure i’m not alone on that one.) mikhail, zeke, tasel, luke and everyone else were great additions, too. i’m not at all surprised that this story has been getting (mostly) such high ratings. it’s quality content, if you ask me! aaaand… i believe that, as a writer, it must be surprisingly difficult (but really not all that surprising, really) to create so many unique and consistent characters from scratch. i mean, these are all individuals who’re different in every aspect of the word. they’ve all been leading different lives; each and every one of them have tailored personalities, pasts and perspectives. in my opinion, it’s truly a silent form of talent… and an unspoken form of art. it’s something i truly admire about artists, writers and creators. especially when a story is this well-written! anyway. the point is was TRYING to make with the previous paragraph… is that these creators reaaally did a good job with that. not only was i emotionally invested from the start, but i was always visually appreciating the art and its storytelling from the very beginning as well. (hook, line and sinker!!!) i thought that the pacing was great. nothing felt forced or rushed to me. all the interactions the characters had with each other felt natural, fluid and personal. aaaand, for whatever my opinion might be worth to whomever is reading this: this manhwa is most definitely a new favorite of mine. i liked everything about it, honestly. well, i suppose i’m simply someone who genuinely appreciates good, meticulous work and talented creators! anyway. this review ended up a lot longer than initially expected, lol. but such displays of appreciation is always needed!!! i love love LOOOVE it. and thanks for coming to my TED-talk!!! see ya on the flippity flop.

I am OBSESSED with this comic. So much so that I ended up reading it twice within the course of six weeks—long before it could even be marked as finished! Definitely one of my favorite yaoi manhwas to date. Not only is the smut RIDICULOUSLY good, but the dynamic between the characters and their loyalty to each other was really quite wholesome. It’s simply great! The story actually quite surprised me. I never expected we’d be introduced to a second duo, nor that I’d end up liking them just as much as our OG couple! If not more than those two, honestly And the third—and last—season truly was the cherry on top for me. Loved seeing our babies happy and ambitious and sweet and cooperative with each other. The best of both worlds, really! (Side-note #1: Kangha and Kyuho fucking OWN me, shiet... Side note #2: For your information, so does Gunhyung and Seunguhn. Don’t know why I felt the need to say that.) I made a few minor notes while reading this, and I thought I’d post them here ‘cause why the hell not, lol. Wouldn’t say it’s remarkable work, but at least it’s authentic. They’re cute! “i’m ridiculously excited for the third season. i can’t deal. this’ll be great!” “edit: just finished reading 146 and i’m SQUEALING!!! fucking finally, i’m so excited!” “edit #2: this is just all wholesomeness at this point. i’m pretty much swooning every other chapter. <33” “edit #3: but yes, the smut is STILL top tier. fucking hell, lol. this ain’t good for my underwear.” Haha. Thought it was kinda funny, so there ya go!!! But anyway, I genuinely loved this. Didn’t expect I would initially, but it’s always a nice surprise when the tides turn! Will probably reread it again at some point, too. (No a lot of room for doubt in that regard, really.)

(i should most def be sleeping by now, lol.) this dude’s one fearless motherfucker and i’m living for it, y’all. (even if he ain’t!) this manhwa’s wicked in the best way possible and i legit can’t wait to wake up tomorrow and have another full-day binging sesh. quality stuff!!!
