well, it was alright. better than i remember, to be honest! nearly took me a good two years to finish this one, though, lol. but better late than never!

my god, i completely forgot that i hadn’t actually finished this one yet. i need to get back to work!!! edit: …i can’t believe i actually forgot how fucking hot the smut is in this one. the hell?! man, i’m already horny. sheesh.

this has been an enjoyable read!!! (even though i kind of forgot all about this story and the fact it’d already been completed ages ago, so i had to binge-read the last 30 chapters roughly a year too late, haha.) anywayyy, i only wish they’d given us a somewhat more ‘wrapped-up’ ending, so to speak… or at least a couple more bonus chapters which focused more on their lives afterwards—especially their respective futures and everything that entails. i quite liked the side story, though!!! i’m happy to see an adequate enough ending for ‘that chapter’. it’s not something i thought would happen, not gonna lie… but it was nice nonetheless! aaaand, however much i liked the story, i can’t say i ever felt all that emotionally connected to the characters. probably would’ve given it a 4/5 if i didn’t enjoy it so much!

I am OBSESSED with this comic. So much so that I ended up reading it twice within the course of six weeks—long before it could even be marked as finished! Definitely one of my favorite yaoi manhwas to date. Not only is the smut RIDICULOUSLY good, but the dynamic between the characters and their loyalty to each other was really quite wholesome. It’s simply great! The story actually quite surprised me. I never expected we’d be introduced to a second duo, nor that I’d end up liking them just as much as our OG couple! If not more than those two, honestly And the third—and last—season truly was the cherry on top for me. Loved seeing our babies happy and ambitious and sweet and cooperative with each other. The best of both worlds, really! (Side-note #1: Kangha and Kyuho fucking OWN me, shiet... Side note #2: For your information, so does Gunhyung and Seunguhn. Don’t know why I felt the need to say that.) I made a few minor notes while reading this, and I thought I’d post them here ‘cause why the hell not, lol. Wouldn’t say it’s remarkable work, but at least it’s authentic. They’re cute! “i’m ridiculously excited for the third season. i can’t deal. this’ll be great!” “edit: just finished reading 146 and i’m SQUEALING!!! fucking finally, i’m so excited!” “edit #2: this is just all wholesomeness at this point. i’m pretty much swooning every other chapter. <33” “edit #3: but yes, the smut is STILL top tier. fucking hell, lol. this ain’t good for my underwear.” Haha. Thought it was kinda funny, so there ya go!!! But anyway, I genuinely loved this. Didn’t expect I would initially, but it’s always a nice surprise when the tides turn! Will probably reread it again at some point, too. (No a lot of room for doubt in that regard, really.)

man, i’ve missed this. it’s been so long since i read this that i’ll probably reread it once i decide to continue. it’s been FOREVER. anyway, i’m looking forward to it!

well, fuck. honestly, what i’m feeling is kinda bittersweet. i’m low-key sad about having to let go of these characters so soon… ughhh. i adore them both. but, since i’m tired and (sort of ) in denial about this finally being married as ‘complete’, let me just say that this was simply spectacular. really, really incredible storytelling. i love how their personalities were perfectly incorporated into the art itself! i literally could’ve read this entire story without the dialogue or inner monologues and it still would’ve made perfect sense. i recall having to take a lot of mental health breaks throughout; simply because i couldn’t cope with all the secondhand embarrassment hitting me from every single angle in every single chapter. there was always something to either crack me up like crazy or make the blood under my skin crawl. believe it or not, but either option is considered a victory by my standards! it just means i’m completely invested. and there was never a full moment! i was 100% absorbed whenever i was reading. back when i first reading this in august of 2020, i ended up rereading it (twice) before the end of that very month of that very same year. that’s how enthralled i was. it’s comedic genius, really. well, if i were to give it to you straight (unlike daehyung and yiyoung), this manhwa literally had everything i’d ever need in a story. god, it has so much character!!! and if that’s not all, our two lover boys both had unique and interesting personalities. then there’s also the incalculable amount of hysterically funny moments, lots of smoking hot sex scenes, a whole lot of wholesomeness, an overflow of creativity, excellent chemistry, nice pacing with natural progression, amazing character development… and, of course, the wonderfully playful art as well. ‘on or off’ is a clear favorite of mine among everything i’ve read thus far, and i expect it’ll remain that way for quite some time. there’s not a single doubt in my mind that i’ll end up rereading this (for a third time) at some point in the foreseeable future. i thought the ending was lovely, too, and it was indubitably very, very fitting for them. naturally, i’d be ecstatic to find an epilogue chapter or two after all this, but it’s definitely not necessary. it was a good ending and i absolutely adore this story as a whole. i’d absolutely recommend this manhwa to anyone who’s interested in comics! simply genius.

my god, this one’s epic. and there’s only one epilogue chapter left… fml, imma cry. ;-; anyway, this is DEFINITELY worth checking out, you guys. i guarantee you won’t be disappointed. even calling it epic could be considered an understatement… bruh. although y’all should do so on webtoon where it’s available for free. let’s support this incredible creator!!!
