loved this one!!! i’m a sucker for morally ambiguous stories and characters. although i’ve read this twice, i still suspect i might do so again later on. for what it’s worth, this is the story that introduced me to alphas, betas and omegas in the world of manhwa and graphic novels. so there’s always that!!!

it’s been awhile since i read this one, but i do remember loving it back in the day!!!

This being the very first shounen ai comic I read, I had little to no idea what to expect. Now I think it’s fairly easy for me to admit my obsession with this story, lol. It opened up a whole new world for me! At this point in time, I’ve read “At the End of the Road” three times. In less than three weeks, no less... Seriously. #noregretstho Despite this manhwa having received a couple of negative reviews on here—albeit most of them ARE positive, naturally—I still consider it to be one of my absolute favorites. This has become my go-to read whenever I feel... nostalgic, kind of?? Or whenever I hear a song I’ve previously associated it with, I think about Woojin and Taemin and start smiling like some kind of a crazy motherfucker, lol. Can’t help it. I love these two. Either way, I’m really excited to see what Haribo’s planning regarding (possible) future stories! I’d probably read anything of his at this point. Yuuuup. (edit: i’ve been following ‘mad dog’ since its initial release back in june of 2021, and dude, it’s fucking INCREDIBLE. so fucking great, man… this guy knows what he’s doing. i just adore his work!!! season one was wrapped up nicely back in early february of 2022, so now i’m simply awaiting the release of season two! enthusiastically awaiting, that is. heh. it’s going to be epic, i already know it.) - — - — - — - — - Soooo, I’m just about to read this manhwa again… for the sixth time. it was good! kinda sweet, kinda depressing. mostly depressing, to be honest. haha

so freakin’ sweet. i really like these characters! and the plot, too. (obviously, lol.) it’s new to me and i find it surprisingly entertaining; even though most of the translations are… borderline unreadable, not gonna lie. still here, though!! that should tell you something, i suppose. haha

it’s preeeetty wholesome, not gonna lie. they have such a sweet relationship, and i like seeing chloe’s self-esteem continuously improve! however, it’s far from being considered ’great’… based off my standards, at least. i would’ve liked to see more of an emotional buildup. the story’s nice, sure, but not as engaging or fulfilling as it could be. hmmm. in any case, i guess we’ll have to wait and see what i’ll make of this upcoming side story! i hope it’ll be something unexpected. i mean, in all honesty, i doubt it will be… but you never know! if we’re lucky, they’ll bring some last-minute excitement to the table to finish things off. i guess i’ll find out soon enough! :)

my god. it seems as though the comics i’ve been reading for a while now are finishing up all at once, sheesh… but anyway!!! i’ve truly enjoyed reading this manhwa. (so freakin’ wholesome, dude!!) i really liked the dynamics between our two mains, too! and it’s been nice watching them ‘adapt’ and grow—both individually and as a couple. was it everything i hoped it’d be? i don’t know, i didn’t really have any expectations. i was looking for a nice, classic aristocratic romance manhwa, and that’s precisely what i got! do note that i’m overall pleased with the ending, too—even though i found it somewhat abrupt and unexpected, i won’t lie. definitely not a bad ending, though! i just didn’t expect it this to happen this soon. a lot of things happened in the last chapter… hence my initial surprise, lol. but no matter! i’m content. now, will i ever reread this? well, possibly. just as i’ve mentioned previously, i’ve definitely enjoyed myself here. it was sweet and low-key awkward and wholesome and uncomplicated! and a fairly pleasant distraction at that. not too shabby! well, i suppose this review ended up being rather short, but i don’t really know what else to say at this point. either way, i’m excited for the epilogue chapters! i do hope we’ll get to witness our main man give birth, haha. that’d be pretty great, honestly! ;)

oh, god... i can’t believe it’s over. just beautiful. gorgeous gorgeous GORGEOUSSSS writing. lively and enthralling, to say the least! i feel like crying right now, seriously. this has been such a wild, emotional ride, but i’m happy and content knowing that things ended up the way they did—a way i always hoped and wished it would. in any case, these characters will absolutely stick with me! chaeyeon and daeryeo especially. god, i really enjoyed their dynamics. loved being able to witness their growth and sincerity throughout it all! this manhwa is one of a kind. i don’t regret a single moment i spent reading it. i’ll absolutely reread at some point in down the line. it’ll be nice binging the whole thing in one go! probably would’ve had a lot more to say if this all happened a good day, but unfortunately for everyone present, my mind’s drawing a blank and i literally don’t know what to say at this point. i struggled to simply write this much, sheesh… just know that i‘ve remained 100% enthralled ‘til the very end of this journey. (ending it on chapter 100 was a huge bonus for my semi-compulsive neurodivergent brain, too!) well, it’s been lovely. <33 until next time!
