ohhh!! initially, this kinda reminds me of ‘the undefeated swordsman’ just form looking at the prologue. i’m so hyped for this!!! edit: …i take it back. it’s nothing like ‘the undefeated swordsman’, sheesh. it’s great nonetheless! ughhh, poor guy. edit #2: yo, this is SO. FUCKING. GOOD. i love this, truly! it’s so creative and engaging. i’m only 33 chapters in and i’m already completely hooked, lol. i’m definitely getting ‘the undefeated swordsman’ and ‘tale of a scribe who retires to the countryside’ vibes from this now. it’s soooo fucking good, y’all. i love this MC. he’s such a precious lil’ bean. we must protect him at all costs!!! not that he needs it, but still. he deserves the world. edit #3: HAHAHAHAHAH, this father and son shit is fucking hysterical. genius writing!!! i’m dying over here, lmfaoooo.

wowzaaaa. this one was pretty wild, not gonna lie. quite interesting, too! creatively speaking, this was completely new ground for me personally. i loved the characters’ complexities, and i also appreciated the story’s unpredictability in general. at certain points during the story, i honestly didn’t know whether to laugh or cry at calix’s innocence (or ignorance, whatever). it was pretty fucking unbelievable, sheesh. honestly, it almost felt ingenious. well, it was messily ingenious, but i still stand by what i said. it made for something a bit more ‘unique’ in the spectrum of male love interests. i’ve never read anything like this before, that’s for sure. on another note: at certain points during the story, i honestly didn’t know whether to laugh or cry at calix’s innocence (or ignorance, whatever). it was pretty fucking unbelievable, sheesh. honestly, it almost felt ingenious. well, it was messily ingenious, but i still stand by what i said. it made for something a bit more ‘unique’ in the spectrum of male love interests. i’ve never read anything like this before, that’s for sure. by the time the story was about to conclude, i was still excitedly awaiting new updates. (i didn’t realize that the end was nigh… sigh.) things started to pick up the pace again; albeit i’ll say it might’ve been a bit late, knowing what i know now. still, this manhwa ended up being waaaay different from my expectations, but it’s definitely a good thing! it was great. i’ll admit, i was somewhat confused by the ending. it was quick… and definitely open for interpretation. i don’t know if i should be expecting an epilogue, any bonus chapters or possible side stories, but i think i’d be pretty content either way. there are definitely way worse endings out there. at least they all seemed relatively pleased with how things ended up, and that’s really the only thing that matters! it was bittersweet. :)

i’m rejoicing. <33 i really do love these kinds of stories. it’s giving off maaad “omniscient reader’s viewpoint” and “a returner’s magic should be special” vibes!!! “the second coming of gluttony” as well! heh. whatever the case, i’m living for it! edit: ughhh. i’m now fully caught up and i’m freakin’ OBSESSED. man, this dude is awesome. reaaaally makes me look forward to the future of this manhwa. i have high expectations!

bro… this guy‘s the real deal. i’m completely bewitched, goddammit. i’m officially fully caught up now, and yes, i’m OBSESSED. god, how i love me a sweet power trip. i adore this MC of ours, too! i love i love i love. even the side characters are pretty damn respectable. i’m ridiculously stoked for the future!!! (in case that wasn’t already made painfully obvious.) this genre is taking over my entire world, y’all. expect the unexpected, i suppose! i’m kinda disappointed with myself for putting this off for so long. ughhh, why do i always do this…? oh, well. better late than never, i guess.

i’m having really mixed feelings about this… this shit is so toxic, sheesh. i’m kinda liking the development, though! edit: happy characters = happy reader. decent ending, i’d say. yay!

this is soooo good!!! i’ve learnt from experience to never have a lot of expectations from manhua in general… but this one’s fucking amazing, y’all. literally. i’m so enthralled. really looking forward to see what’ll happen in the future!!!

HAHAHAHAH, this is amazing!!! each and every single one of these four is a complete menace, lol. so entertaining. why didn’t i check this out earlier, though? sheesh. i’m pretty sure this comic has both noblesse and solo leveling beat in terms of screenshots. just so much comedy and depth went into the creation of this. i’m in love. <33 edit: these boys must be protected AT. ALL COSTS. they deserve the world.
