THIS. IS. SO. GANGSTER!!! i mean, whoa. what a glorious massacre this turned out to be. i honestly didn’t think i’d stick around this long... i struggled to make sense of the plot initially, and it took a good while for things to turn interesting, but those notions are all in the past now! man, what an immense power-trip. just constant fighting, basically. since the development started out kinda… slow (?), i couldn’t quite figure out the characters and their affiliations until i’d finished, what, a good 60-70 chapters? either way, now that things are finally making sense, i’m truly immersed. i love the political aspects, too! can’t believe our escort warrior was actually once the alliance leader, lol. (albeit it was only for a day or so, but still.) i mean, i knew he had a powerful position with a lot of influence, but i never would’ve imagined anything like that. that revelation made my whole goddamn week!!! man, that smug look of satisfaction on our OP MC’s face once he knew that ‘the enemy’ had realized his identity. i actually screamed out loud. ugh, so good. i’m just happy and relieved that i didn’t put this off!!! things are only getting better and better now. and hey, we’re FINALLY geeing some character development for our gwang hwi, too! this guy has literally been through HELL. if anyone out there deserves a break, it’s this guy. i mean, i do understand his self-loathing, guilt and regrets given the things he’s done… but he also needed to realize that he can’t save everyone. he’s not god. (even though he’s basically a war god, sheesh.) either way, i’m just glad that he’s finally starting to see that himself. it’s taken him a long time, but all good things come in time! seeing him actively working on himself (not just his abilities, but his perspectives, too) makes my whole heart soar, truly. gwang hwi deserves the world. all he wants is to do good. to BE good! i and know he’s already there. i can’t wait for the day when he finally realizes that he’s not the monster he believes himself be. <3 i’m excited!

i can’t believe i actually started reading a story with only one chapter published. oh, man… this is simply too enticing to be overlooked. <33 edit: this are still excellent, and the art is top-notch… but man, i feel so bad for idris. ugh, i love him. he deserves better. these rape scenes are fucking HORRID. someone, just butcher this piece of trash crown prince already!!! ugh, barf. on another note… i respect him soooo fucking much. his character, too! truly. and then there’s our other baby, too… ;_; i truly do hope that they end up together somehow. they’d be perfect for each other… i’m just terrified of the process of getting there. things will definitely get worse before they get better… IF they get better. :( edit #2: this disgusts me. i truly believed i’d been rather desensitized by manhwa at this point, but this right here takes the fucking cake. i thought i’d seen it all… this crown prince is probably their world’s worst fucking person of all time, i kid you the fuck NOT. disgusting piece of shit… what a monster. our boys deserve so much BETTER than this!!! ugh, i’m upset. and i feel so disgusted by how turned out i was initially. i’m deplorable.

shieeet, this is dark… but kinda wholesome at the same time! don’t really know what else to say at this point, ngl. i just feel so much for han sangyul. poor guy’s been through enough suffering to cover 30 freakin’ lifetimes... i hope he’ll be able to find peace eventually. and i really like and support this ship, too!!! lee reok is 100% boyfriend material. (well, kind of… ffs.)

ohhhh, my, oh my… what a lovely toxic mess this is! seems we’ve got a psychopath (?) on our hands. strangely enough… i can’t really say i hate it. MC seems pretty okay with (and he’s definitely fully aware of) ML’s obsessive, violent, creepy, borderline psychotic behavior. i have issues, i know... but who doesn’t? two negatives make a positive, no? yes…? (yeaaaah, so i ship this trainwreck. who cares? fight me.) edit: i mean… i get the the author got really sick and barely (?) managed to publish these last two chapters, but that might just be one of the worst endings i’ve come across thus far. literally, what even was that??? anything other than that would’ve sufficed. i feel bad for being upset, but this just ain’t it. i’ve waited almost a year for an update, only to get two chapters and then it’s complete??? nah, man. i hope the author manages to recover or that someone else could take over, publishing a couple of epilogue chapters or something. this just feels soooo rushed and unfinished. oof, dare to dream.

omg. this is comedy GOLD. and smutty gold, to be completely frank with you… ugh, this is exactly what i needed right now. thank you, author!!! i don’t know where i’d be without you. literally. #blessed edit: i just completed the story. heh, still love it! we’ve had some ups and downs with these two for sure (with some real heavy elements here and there, too), but elia and daniel eventually pulled through together and kept us, the readers, invested ‘til the very end. a very impressive feat, author! i hope i’ll be able to read more of your work in the future. <33

heh. it’s been awhile since i read this one since the second season finished up a good while ago. (about a year or so, i expect…?) either way, i remember loving it! his is good stuff. great characters, enticing dynamics, gorgeous art. i’ve really missed these guys. <33
