I Regressed to My Ruined Family
well, it’s an overall good story! i would’ve liked there to be more… ‘intricacies’, it you will—both in regards to the storytelling itself, as well as the plot as a whole. it falls kinda flat at times, i feel like… it lacks some depth. i mean, it won’t hold me back from reading more, but there’s definitely room for character development, improvements and such for with the majority of these characters, if nothing else. i like the art and i like the storyline, but i do wish there’d be more internal dialogue and ‘getting to know’ our MC. i’m not even 30 chapters in yet, so you never know!!! either way, i’m entertained. :)
Failed To Abandon The Villain
this is so, so dark, man… i’m wholly enthralled, not gonna lie. loving every aspect of this!!! (and yes, that includes reinhart—as well as his psychopathic tendencies.) god, these broken people… there are some truly complex, twisted individuals and relationships in this story. i genuinely didn’t expect something this raw and gruesome when i first got here, but i’m enjoying myself nonetheless! it’s… ‘refreshing’, in a weird kind of way. you never know what to expect. i’m looking forward to reading more!
Youngest Scion of the Mages
haha, i don’t even know where to start! uhm, well… let’s just say that i expected… a lot of predictability, to be honest. but, to my surprise, quite a restricted number of such ‘elements’ have been featured here thus far! (i’m probably not making a lot of sense right now, by the way. i’m basically half-asleep.) in the beginning, i didn’t find this manhwa to be all that good, nor well-written—i’m not gonna lie. however!!! things are most certainly different now. i like our MC, and i’m liking this direction we’re heading towards! larsen’s a lot more intelligent and cunning than what i’d originally found out through my first impression of him. he’s becoming more likable and admirable the more i read, and i’m so here for it! there’ve been some exciting developments since then as well, and my expectations have now grown in number. ahhhh, how i love these overpowered underdog-like main characters with superior intellects and infinite potential. <33 power elite!!!
Call of the Spear
as always when it comes to this… ‘revolution’ of a genre, i’m wholly ENTHRALLED by every single aspect of this. the beautiful art, the lovable characters, the unique plot, the steady progression… peak creativity, if you ask me!!! ethereal as hell, too. i’m genuinely so stoked to read more of this, y’all have no idea. i love love LOVE this MC of ours, too. i honestly don’t think i could even give an explicit reason as to why… i simply like his energy. <33
My School Life Pretending To Be a Worthless Person
I. LOVE. THIS!!! i’m unbelievably tired right now, so i’ll make this short and concise: THIS IS EPIIIIIC. what a twist! not only is he overpowered, but he’s SECRETLY overpowered. and not only is he hiding his abilities, but he’s hiding evil, murderous and FORCED abilities. i’ve hit the jackpot!
Shadowless Night
this is so, so good! incredibly creative, too. i love this new rosalyn. <33 and pretty much everyone else, to be honest… what a bunch of awesome, likable characters!!! and this is a story with an intriguing plot and super gorgeous art, at that. i couldn’t ask for more, truly! (P.S. definitely would’ve written a much, MUCH better—and appreciative—review if i wasn’t so goddamn sleep deprived, lol.)
Am I Invincible
THIS IS WILD, LMFAO. (not exactly great quality writing or anything like that, but it’s really entertaining.) edit: this is HYSTERICALLY funny, man…. i’m not even kidding. i’m legit, like, GASPING for air every three fucking minutes because of his ridiculously overpowered, dumbass self. it’s insane!!! the fact that he doesn’t even realize any of this himself makes the whole thing ten times more enjoyable. i’ve never read about a ‘clueless god’ before, i think, lololol. but, whatever happens, i’m confident it’ll be entertaining as hell!
The lazy prince becomes a genius
ughhh. this is simply… perfection, honestly. it just keeps getting better and better by the chapter, holy FUCK. i’ve talked a lot about power elite-tropes being my absolute favorite for quite some time now, and this manhwa just strengthens that resolve for me. my body’s legit SHAKING from all this excitement at times, i swear to fucking god. if his outstanding abilities and incredible dedication to his sword-arts aren’t enough: this MC of ours is an outstanding one! airen’s righteous but humble, insecure but resolute, honest but considerate… he’s also loyal, ambitious, open-minded, kind and strong—as well as rough and unrelenting whenever the situation might call for it. despite everything he goes through, airen continues to remain true to his character while still being respectful to (and with) everyone he meets throughout this journey. man, what a guy… just overwhelmingly admirable as a person overall—fictions or not. i’m kinda struggling to find ANY flaws with him at this point. like, at all. maybe his poor self-esteem, if anything…? (although, he seems to be working through that issue at a steady pace as we speak.) in all honesty, despite my initial bias and presumptuous attitude towards this one, i quit reading this comic before all those other events occurred the first time around. but, nonetheless, i still ‘stuck it out’ this second time around, and this is the outcome! rereading from scratch was an excellent decision on my part. :)
Be My Villain
man… this is so unexpectedly wholesome, man. literally, THEY ARE SO FUCKING PRECIOUS. can’t wait to see them continue to grow closer and closer. <33 we’re already well on our way! i’d say it’s a solid 4.5/5, at least. i’ll be giving it a 5 star rating, anyway—simply because it feels closer to 5 stars rather than 4.
