it’s funnier than i thought it’d be! love the mains’ dynamic, too. i’m excited for this one! edit: i’m in love with this. <3 i’m just hoping there’ll be an epilogue and some bonus episodes to finish everything off. i’m kinda sad it’s over, to be honest. i feel like they could’ve kept going for a good while still, but it is what it is. i’m not giving up hope until i see that it’s marked ‘complete’!!! i don’t particularly like rushed endings with lots of unanswered questions and lacking closure.

my god, this one’s epic. and there’s only one epilogue chapter left… fml, imma cry. ;-; anyway, this is DEFINITELY worth checking out, you guys. i guarantee you won’t be disappointed. even calling it epic could be considered an understatement… bruh. although y’all should do so on webtoon where it’s available for free. let’s support this incredible creator!!!

y’all, it’s freakin’ AMAZING. i’m really glad i chose to read this one tonight. binged the whole thing in one go!!! well, all the AVAILABLE chapters, that is. just awaiting new updates now. edit: it’s complete and i feel content. <33 i’d guess i was roughly halfway through the story back when i wrote that ‘initial review’, if you will… so, i suppose it’s fair to say that things have happened since then. time passed, things changed, characters grew… it’s been an intriguing read, that’s for sure. and not only intriguing, but beautiful and wholesome as well. therefore, i absolutely stand by what i said back then! it really IS amazing. this might actually be the best manhua i’ve ever read, to be completely honest. it felt… full. and vibrant. which is honestly not something i’m used to seeing in chinese comics, not gonna lie. in any case, it’s been such a pleasure, and i’m excited to see more of this author‘s work in the future! 10/10 would recommend, i absolutely loved it. i’ll probably end up rereading it at some point, too. i have no qualms about it. thank youuuu!!!

this is hot as fuuuuck. i love a good yaoi office romance. so excited. and horny. <33 i’ve literally only JUST. STARTED. and this story has already killed me deeeed. y’all, i kid you not. I’M NOT EVEN PAST THE FIRST FUCKING CHAPTER AND I’M ALREADY FORCED TO HOLD IN SCREAMS FROM ALL THE CRINGE. it’s actually hilarious, lmfao. low-key, tho… i’m kinda obsessed with this, ngl. these characters have great chemistry!!! and i l love the dynamics. edit: IT’S OVER AND THIS HAS BEEN SUCH A WHOLESOME RIDE, OMFG. i just adore these two so much. not only was the chemistry spot-on (like i mentioned earlier), but their interactions have always felt sincere and remained a consistent source of entertainment ‘til the very end. no wonder i kept rereading this even though the manhwa wasn’t even complete, lol! no regrets, though. these two will stay with me, for sure. hilariously adorable, the both of ‘em.

this is quite exceptional. i love how unique this plot is in comparison to other stories within the same genre. the dynamics are really fucking intriguing! and equally devastating, too. i just want her to feel happy, free and comfortable in her own skin. it’s what i want for all of them, really. such an amazing story. lovely characters. great development. memorable plot. it makes me super excited for the future!!!

i don’t understand why some people are saying that they dislike our MC (for what seems to be a lot of mixed reasons) in the comment section. i hear she’s manipulate and delish… but i like her a lot! at least i do as of right now. i’m only on chapter 18, after all… but still!!! i find her charisma both refreshing and endearing. i love her carefree spirit and bubbling personality! i find her somewhat relatable in other aspects, too—such as her need for independence (aka reluctance to ask for permission) and her occasional ‘unladylike’ behavior; at least by aristocratic standards. hopefully you know what i mean by that. i really do stan her, though. and i like our ML as well! they have a fun dynamic, lol. the crown prince is blth adorable and entertaining as well. looking forward to this!!! nonetheless, we shall have to wait and see where this leads. i’m sure it’ll be a fun ride either way! edit: well… i kinda do understand why adele’s been referred to as both selfish and manipulative by other readers now. she’s one sly lady, that’s for sure. honestly, i don’t think it’s particularly off-putting under these particular circumstances since it hasn’t really been affecting her relationship with elias all that negatively... if anything, it’s only made him speak up more; she’s baits him a lot, yet he always takes it. i don’t condone such behavior, nor do i approve of it, but i don’t think it’s exactly ‘horrible’ when it comes to these two. it seems to work out well for them. i’m actually a lot more bothered about her childish and petty behavior (especially that unfounded, weird ass jealousy of hers) and things like that. like, why the are you getting mad at HIM because other people find him attractive?? and why’d you get mad at him for listening to your instructions in regards to susan’s idiot maid when he’s literally just trying to be polite…? when it wasn’t even convincing in the first place, at that…?? it literally makes zero sense to me. i liked this woman a lot more in the beginning than i do now. elias is such a sweetheart, though—i really like him still. i just feel as though he deserves better than adelaide, honesty. but still… he’s happy, and so is she. who am i to butt in and have a say in the matter? that’s the only thing that should mean anything in end, anyway. it’s not my life, nor my relationship. i don’t appreciate mind games like that and i’d never put up with it, but that might just be me. (i’m more of the blunt, unnecessarily transparent kind of person.) anyway, it’s not a bad story. i’ve actually been enjoying myself; even though the romance has been feeling kiiinda forced as of late. it was really wholesome at first, but now it’s just ??? a lot of the time. idek, bro. i’m tired and i’m not even finished with the story yet. who knows? i could always change my mind. well, that’d seem pretty unlikely at this point… but you truly never do know about these things!!! ;)
