this one’s seeeriously fucked up. and i’m loving it!!! i’ll worship this woman ‘til the day i die, i swear. my god, this wicked sense of admiration and justification i feel for this person is next level powerful, man!!! she’s a literal GODDESS of manipulation. like a siren, only way worse. (if villainism was a person, heh…) i guess i should be overall frightened, if nothing else, but i’m really not. this is so refreshing!!! terrifying, but refreshing all the same. i’d probably lick the soles of her feet if she asked me to, not gonna lie. “she’s a nightmare dressed like a daydream,” as someone once said. extremely intelligent, unbelievably cunning and so, soooo fucking attractive. i love her. <33 she’s a horrible, horrible person… i’d 100% run for the hills if i met this fictional queen in real life, though. god, what a fearsome thought. however!!! bad bitches like verta 2.0 don’t come around all too often. ESPECIALLY as female leads… such intriguing dynamics!!! beautiful complexity, to say the least. edit: my god, she’s an actual fucking MENACE. at this point in time, i practically get chills ALL OVER my body whenever i read a fresh update. this is truly terrifying. her conniving genius is unparalleled. sighhh. i don’t know whether to laugh or cry anymore, i just can’t cope. a true villainess.

well, it’s pretty good! surprisingly wholesome, quirky, albeit NOT-so-surprisingly depressing at times… with seoyoo’s frail mentality and all that… but an overall enjoyable reading experience! i love the dynamics between our two mains. their chemistry is just… *chef’s kiss*!!! this one ticks a lot of the boxes. decent smut, entertaining dialogue, expressive art, ‘realistic emotional depiction’, a fair amount of dramatics, and some appreciative clichés to top things off. can’t really complain! omega-verse comics always bring the excitement. ;) it’s just that… i get so. fucking. ticked. off. by our MC’s ridiculous obliviousness and emotional immaturity. he’s so dumb and irrational and impulsive, it’s not even funny. i’ve seen a lot of clueless characters in my day, but this is just… next level stupidity. HOW does seoyoo even reach these conclusions?! ON WHAT BASIS?!?! it bothers me; probably more than it should. ughhh, just freakin’ COMMUNICATE your worries… you’re the only one confused here!!! i understand his insecurities, and i understand his depression (i’m living with a severe case of both), but really…? i just feel so bad for seonghoon… poor guy’s dealing with a lot. ;_; he’s got the patience of a fucking SAINT, that’s for sure. i mean… i’m autistic, and i’d generally be considered pretty clueless (‘cause i am), but the guy’s literally SPELLING IT OUT for you, seoyoo, and you STILL don’t get it??? fuck in the what is going on here—

wow… this really is nothing like what i expected, lol. it’s pretty damn great, though!!! it’s a shame that the translations kinda suck, but the story itself is good enough for me to put up with it. heh. i’m kinda excited to see what’ll happen next, not gonna lie. this is such a toxic (but still weirdly wholesome) mess. i don’t even know what to think anymore. edit: ‘weirdly wholesome, weirdly toxic mess’ sounds just right for this one, lol. they seem to be happy together despite… um, everything…? ehem, despite all the shit they put each other through, so i won’t pass judgment on them, their dynamics, OR any of their choices. i mean, why would i? if they’re content, as will i be. god, manhwa’s desensitized me to violence and abusive relationships soooo fucking badly…! this would never fly in real life, at least i know that much… even for me. sheeeesh. 0.o edit #2: THIS FUCKING SIDE STORY NEARLY KILLED MEEEE. omfg, i love them. what a wholesome, toxic mess. <33 like, bruuuuh… i never knew what to expect reading this, that’s for sure. hahahaha

(unsure about the steamy tag, so i guess we’ll have to figure that out by ourselves.)

holy FUCK, this is good. ahhhh, my mind’s blanking and that’s a shame, but it’s great fucking writing, man!!! (hopefully, i’ll be back with a better mid-reading review later. sheesh.)
