The Life of the Witch Who Remains Single for About 300 Years!

It's ok, fairly interesting. The gimmick is that every chapter details the life of a single woman in her mid-life crisis moments but she's actually a 300++-year old witch. I don't know if she has really been single in the whole 300 year period since she's dated lots of men during that period of time, and it just didn't last, I think. The gimmick of the story gets old quick though, I'm rather bored with the recent chapters since nothing major has happened and she's returned to normal singles lifestyle. There's basically no conflict and it's supposed to be humorous, but I personally don't find it funny myself. Update: After a lot of rinse and repeat with her failing to find a good guy, she gets married with the original guy she liked. And he's cool with her being a witch, and she still has her powers. Meh. Ending is not surprising at all. She could have thought of this possibility herself, getting the best of both worlds. Shows how stupid she is.

The Way to Protect the Female Lead's Older Brother

There's a lot of villainess isekai out there, but this one is probably the most insane one that I've read. You forget that she's an isekai'd character because she's completely into her role, playing the evil woman she is supposed to be. It's very unnerving to see, as I can't imagine someone who is not part of the original world acting so in tune with a person that was not them. Sure, you can say that she's experienced everything the original Roxanna experienced, which warped her, but I don't think it's possible to fall so completely in line with the entirety of it all. Yes, the whole Agriche family is batshit crazy, but she doesn't need to be, since she knows how it will end for them. Yet she follows their terrible ways almost entirely, the only exception being that she's saving the prince of the other family to avoid a disastrous demise. The webtoon tries to paint her as intelligent, but seeing that she reincarnated into this body from when she was a baby, I don't think she is all that smart. She didn't figure out any ways to thwart the schemes in her own family, and she let her brother die, knowing it was going to happen, and not doing anything about it. If she had isekai'd into this body more recently, I'd commend her, but as such, she seems like she didn't take full advantage of her precognition about future events. Her attempts to twist the actions of people around her are half-hearted, and more emphasis is placed on her poisoning herself and controlling poisoned butterflies. Granted, she has some great moments here and there, but I don't think she's a strong female protagonist, at least from what I've seen from her so far. There's a lot of missed opportunities, and she lacks agency, which is why the pacing of the story is slow. She wanders from place to place and often passes out from poisoning herself, but she doesn't let anyone else into her plans. She also hasn't shown any real ability to manipulate people, other the stupid half-sister, which was actually done by proxy by her half-brother. The father and older brother are puppet villains who do nothing except to act scary and serve as menacing fake obstacles, since they're only around to conveniently appear to hinder her plans. The art quality was rather inconsistent in the beginning, but got better and better with new chapters. Character designs are striking and memorable, it's pretty easy to distinguish who is who. The artist makes great use of the webtoon format to make very flowy panels, and the execution is just spot-on. Overall, there's too much dichotomy with the evil family vs. the good family, and it's just unoriginal. The female lead is not a sympathetic character, despite the author trying to make us give her pity points whenever she faints. The reason is that she doesn't have someone she cares about in this world that humanizes her (not counting the prince, because that's plot-related), and she does everything of her own accord, she's not actually forced to do all these bad things. This is also not the story in which an evil character slowly comes to change themselves by being shown love either...and if that was indeed the goal, that wasn't a real attempt on the author's part since the focus just isn't there. There are some good ideas here, but also plenty of flaws. However, this is one of the better isekai webtoons that I have read with a decent female lead who isn't head-over-heels in love all the time.

Father, I don't Want this Marriage

A girl gets isekai'd to the life of a poor girl named Juvelian, in which she was never loved by her father and in her last moments, told her to die. When she wakes up in this new body, it seems that her cold father now loves her to pieces, although he's very awkward about showing it, and the prince who was supposed to torture her to death is now falling slowly for her. Typical isekai shoujo webtoon with nothing much happening, but lots of waffling here and there. Everyone is stupid, and the side characters are all catty gossiping assholes. Art is ok, but nothing special. I actually preferred the art in the promo more than in the serialized webtoon.

Professional sniper woman isekai'd to ancient China, which is suffering from zombie apocalypse. It's somewhat funny at times, but the constant touching and suggestive poses is getting old. Action is quite fast-paced and the story sometimes jumps a bit without warning. It's not a bad read overall.

One of my favorite series of all time. Each chapter is standalone and makes you think about whether the pet owners deserved their fate. Art is amazing. Count D and Leon have the best interactions, and Chris is adorable and precious.

Not as good as the original series. The art is also less beautiful in the later chapters. Characters are dull, even Count D himself, compared to the original work, which is sad. Less focus on the pets, and more about how the setting is so fantastical, it being Shinjuku. Still pretty good, but the first series is my favorite.

The art is really nice, and some of the angles in the various sex scenes are very well done, making them especially steamy. Lots of weird fetishes here so stay away if that's not your thing. For me though, I love all the bizarreness the author comes up with, it's exciting to see as opposed to the same vanilla BL stuff that's available everywhere. No real story here, just lots of monster sex and dubious consent (or rape).

Was interesting until timeskip, where the main character proceeds to make horrible decisions in love and everything else. The story involves a top notch assassin dying and getting isekai'd to a fantasy ancient China where people are summoners. She gets a hack item that allows her to be one of the strongest summoners in this world, and many take an interest in her. There's a decent revenge plot going on until she becomes too OP and crushes everyone around her, and she decides the worst guy out of all the potential love interests. Art is clean and good, with solid lines and colors.

Somewhat decent webtoon that has a reverse harem set up. Female lead finds herself in a book in which her character dies an early death, and is determined to avoid that fate. She's actually competent and manages to set up some traps to defeat her enemies, but she has a lot of help from all the bishounen guys around her. Plot is boring, but it's readable, compared to other shoujo isekai stuff. Art is also good.

Let’s Hide My Younger Brother First

A girl finds herself as the sister of the male lead in a BL game, and she decides to swap places with her brother to prevent him from triggering the bad endings. This shoujo webtoon isn't bad, and I liked seeing her act in unconventional ways. So far, there isn't much romance going on, which is a plus for me. I don't like like how the brother got married and already has a child though, that seemed really rushed and it didn't mesh well with the rest of the story. Seems like the author didn't know what to do with the minor side character of her brother, so they just made up an excuse to take him out of the big picture. The art is not that good, especially in regards to character line work, which is overly simplistic and rather lacking in details. But it's sufficient enough to get the main point across, and action scenes are clear from clutter and understandable.
