A café worker meets and dates a man who frequents his café, the man appears perfect and as time goes on it's clear he appears so because he hides a lot about himself. The café worker eventually breaks up with him and quits his job to start over somewhere new. He joins a cleaning service through which he meets his now thoroughly miserable ex. Neither can seem to stay away from the other. This story also contains a meeting and get-together of another couple, which has a relationship somehow much healthier than the first couple's, but both are interesting for their own reasons. Like some other commenters, I did end up preferring the second couple with the "bad boy" top. This is a shame because it is also in part due to how completely the author shifts the focus from the first couple to the second for a rather large portion of the story. To the point where the first couple kind of disappears. There's also a lot of... coincidences? I'm not sure that's the right word, but it wont come to me right now. Either way, the plot starts feeling a bit shaky because of these coincidences, and if you think too much about them it can affect your enjoyment of the story somewhat. Fortunately the characters and their related drama is engaging enough that one can ignore this, at least i could. The fluff is sweet and really nice, but I do find myself having a lot of problems with the first couple, or mainly the original "Mr. Perfect" of the story. His issues are sort of touched upon, but not enough and his behavior makes me really uncomfortable, even if his partner dismisses it. I may be overly sensitive due to the course on domestic abuse I'm currently taking, but like... he leaves bruises on his partner... his partner doesn't enjoy it and has wanted him to stop. He sort of says it, during sex, but it gets ignored, and I don't remember him bringing it up to Mr. Perfect again outside of sex. And that is a problem... a kind of loose end I don't think ever gets properly resolved. Later on towards the end there is a scene of non-con. I'd call it sexual assault even, but despite the partner fainting at the end of it, and scaring the shit out of Mr. Perfect (for very good reason), it's not treated with the gravitas it should have. The story ended on a sweet lovely note, but I remain worried despite that, because of just how many bruises the partner suffers. It also makes it more uncomfortable, because the partner doesn't seem to see this behavior as a problem after an apology, something that is very VERY real in cases of domestic violence. It's starts off small and escalates and I felt like that's what I was witnessing with the first couple. Mr. Perfect needs SO MUCH therapy. Like he badly needs it, and his lover isn't the thing that will fix him. The realism of the abuse in here hits too close, and it feels a little irresponsible of the author to just sweep it away with a blanket happy ending like that. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad the first couple is happy together. I want to see them together. I'm glad the partner is so good with de-escalating things that could have turned bad with how obsessive and possessive Mr. Perfect sometimes gets. However I feel it would have been better to see Mr. Perfect get more help for his issues and for the story to at least mention that he's using other methods to work on himself. A lover cannot and should not be the "fix", not in a story that gets this close to real. *Ahem* sorry for the rant, anyway the rest of the story is good and I would recommend it. Just... not to people who could be affected by the stuff described above. Like many yaoi manga, there's a few instances of attempted sexual assault or outright attempted rape by antagonists. Oh!! ALSO there's attempted suicide, it's not graphic and is immediately thwarted. It is a thing that happens though, so it's important to mention. Despite my complaints and problems with this comic, the ending still had me smiling, so make of that what you will.

This is insane, and unbearably cute. The couple here is just... insane! They are both crazy obsessed and possessive and it's somehow healthier and more wholesome than 95% of the yaoi stuff on this site. How did you manage this author person??? HOW?! I want more of this couple dammit!! (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻

The art is very pretty, but censors kisses in a terribly distracting way. What's the point making this a comic if the art isn't allowed to illustrate? There's better ways then giant ass word balloons obstructing both their heads. Also the story is annoying. I thought we'd get dude who went back in time training to be stronger, making use of acquired knowledge from the future and slowly uncovering mysteries + misunderstandings. Instead Mc's an idiot who makes no use of future knowledge or cultivation techniques or anything. He's s childish and whiny! Basically reverts back to being a child with no self awareness. His abusive master is abusive, and rather then turning away from him much earlier than he did in his previous life mc just tries to "tease" him and is constantly worrying about him, but without resolving any misunderstandings from the past life. Like at least when wei wuxian came back, he knew his shit and didn't act like a fucking teenager even if he was in the body of one. MC here died as the strongest cultivator at least 10 years or more in the future, but the story shows none of that future knowledge or maturity. It's such a shallow story that apparently wants to be kind of light hearted and comedic, but also wanting to be tragic and taken seriously. It fails at both, which makes me not care. I thought mc would do something interesting with his new life, but there's nothing there. Ugh... absolutely hate "the victim falling in love with their abuser" trope, it's shitty and for how longs it's been a staple of bl stories, it's also been done to death. So uninteresting. I haven't read the novel, but this hasn't given me any reason to go try reading that either. Ugh. Hard pass, don't understand why this is popular, or why this cliche of a plot remains so goddamn popular in bl stories. Don't waste your time on this there's better ways to spend your time. Like watching paint dry.

This could have probably been good, though I had to drop it. The first couple chapters are good, but then the translation takes a nose dive into word salad, and it was pointless to even attempt to read. The art looked very promising, though I'm not all that happy about the reveal of the the blond being a high school kid. I'm sure this could have been interesting, but nope, another story ruined by really bad translation. Don't even bother with this unless you just want to look at the good art. It doesn't seem all that smutty though, so I'm not sure it's any good for just looking at the art either.

A new editor, witnesses his author's one night stand conquest and out of nowhere confesses he might be in love with the author. The author is confused, but doesn't really believe it and tries gaslighting the editor about it. In the end to convince the editor that his feelings aren't real he suggests they sleep together. The editor agrees after which he demands that they start dating. Ok, so the author makes it clear, he only has one night stands or sex friends. He doesn't want a relationship. It's a really bad idea to fucking sleep with someone you work this closely with, especially to convince the other party they aren't actually feeling what they say they're feeling. But the editor is just... incredibly pushy and whiny. He is repeatedly rejected by the author when it comes to dating, the author clearly feeling nothing for him other than sexual attraction. Rather then respecting this, editor whines some more. what should have happened was an immediate switching of editor when said editor confessed his love *and didn't take no for an answer*. Just because there's no rape doesn't mean this is good, it's still one party absolutely not respecting the other party's feelings and decisions. The author doesn't owe editor his feelings just cause editor is nice, and is the author's type (physically). That's not how relationship's work, but it is how incel's think. Don't be an incel. I don't get how some people don't get that and whine about comments like mine. Anyway, I couldn't get through this at all, just leaves such a bad taste in my mouth. Dropped.

Rape. This is another rape story. A mercenary gets black mailed into sex by a powerful and extremely fucked up Duke. It's a mostly complete story and the art is to DIE for. MC is such a beef cake and ml, while much prettier is still manly and muscled in his own right. The relationship is fucked up and yet it somehow builds into something at least one sidedly romantic by the end. MC's kind of in denial at the end? Also resigned to his fate waiting for ml to get tired of him only it's clear he isn't and mc is mostly fine with that. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ There's an incestuous royal family in this too, and MC really is just a plaything for the majority of the story. This poor powerful fighter just gets all his agency stolen. And it's somehow extremely compelling and had me coming back to this story multiple times despite my deep abiding hatred of rape stories (of any kind). This just somehow works for me. I cannot for the life of me explain further then what I said. It was just compelling. I don't hate that I read and (somehow!) enjoyed this. I don't understand. Try it yourself and see??? Like I quit at the first sex scene and weeks or months later just came back to it and then came back to it again to finish it. I don't know man! Form an opinion on this one for yourself, because I don't fucking know! ᕕ( °ᗝ°)ᕗ

An employee is at some drinking establishment with his co-workers mourning their dead boss. He doesn't cry while he's with everyone, but on his way home he breaks down in tears. His dead boss then shows up out of the blue, seeming off and tired before promptly turning into a big black snake. The drunk crying employee is baffled, and then takes the snake home, because what else was he supposed to do?? After snake wakes up again he has no idea who the employee is, and the employee tries to take care of him anyway vaguely questioning his own sanity, but not letting that stop him. Snake occasionally turns into human form, but is still unable to talk or recognize his former employee. I jumped right in, but honestly I stopped at ch19. Nothing happens, snake man still hasn't remembered shit, and we have no idea what his deal is. Why he faked his death, why he went to find mc or what the heck is afflicting him. We get nothing in all those chapters. What we get is some sex scenes where the employee who is revealed to have had a massive crush on snake man, takes advantage of said snake man by jerking him off and stuff. Later snake man fucks him, but he has literally no reason to other then feeling vaguely horny. It made the sex scenes largely uncomfortable and frustrating because of the lack of plot. Found it way too boring to continue. The translation is good, and the art is nice, the snake is really cute, but omg did this story manage to make smut boring.

A traumatized s-class guide decides he wants the easy life, and moves back to Korea, and decides to work by providing guiding for a c-class esper guild where he doesn't need to do more than hand holding. He absolutely refuses to provide guiding by having sex. The new guild he joins is not actually what it seems, he's kind of mislead, maybe a little manipulated and misunderstandings ensue. Love and mystery unfold from there. There's no rape in this so far (writing this after reading up to ch 59), which I've seen in other mature rated guide-verse stories. Seems fine, and so far the couple seems to just have small misunderstandings rather than any outright toxic elements. Seems fun and the mystery and backstory for the rest of the guild mates seems interesting. Still not really found out why the rest of them are here doing the things they do, or really the ML either, but it's all good. I like everyone well enough, though that's mostly because I don't really know shit about anyone else yet. MC, who is also thee bottom of the couple (I hope that's no spoiler to anyone) is kind of.... stupid almost? He's incredibly naive at least, but there are other times when he comes off as sort of smart. Able to puzzle things out on his own. But then he also acts incredibly stupid sometimes too. I'm not sure if I'm missing something or what. Dude has guided s-class espers before. It appeared to be his most recent gig? How did he not recognize s-class espers he was guiding, like immediately??? It's not established one way or another in this story if a guide can figure out an esper's level through guiding, but??? The art is quite good, hot guys are hot, and the translation was pretty dog shit until someone started uploading the official chapters, which made it worth reading. Pretty interesting, has plot, but takes it's time with reveals, especially with everyone's secrets.

I haven't been so pissed reading a story like this in a while. **WARNING: RAPE, story contains RAPE.** Lawyer gets entangled with a mafia boss and said mafia boss gets infatuated with him and contrives reasons for them to spend time together. Hidden secrets from the lawyer's past are revealed eventually, it's dramatic though the beginning is almost kind of fluffy. Art is really good, and the translation is good as well. The beginning was really good. Like absolutely stellar I'd say with how believably the romance is developed. I was expecting rape or dub con, but ml backs off on multiple occasions despite being a big bad mafia boss. MC falling for ml is very organic at the beginning and their chemistry is off the charts. And then? The author ruins it. Completely and utterly. I am rarely so disappointed because I see that sort of shit coming, and it can suck, but usually it's just that kind of story, so the disappointment is pretty small. This time? This time I didn't see it coming. The story made it seem like it wasn't that kind of story with how much and well they executed on the build up. However, the RAPE took me completely by surprise and I am SO PISSED. The story had a chance to still be good, it could have turned this into a sad ending, but it could have explored the aftermath of such violence on our protagonist and ml. But of course it didn't. Hell no, that would be way too heavy now wouldn't it? Nope! Author chose to make their bed and then lie somewhere else and completely ruined any chance of the story being in any way good after that point. MC still fell for ML and pretty much forgave him for everything. Ml shot mc multiple times, kidnapped him, drugged him and then raped him for a week straight. There is no going back after that no matter how sad and broken the mafia boss is (which he wasn't really). But no MC thinks ml died, is sad about it, and when it's revealed mafia boss was actually alive he hits him a couple of times before immediately going for sex telling ml "I better enjoy it this time". This sucks. This SUCKS so bad. I am so incredibly pissed by the wasted potential! This could have been AMAZING and instead it lets you down in the worst way. Before the rape scene and the utterly botched fall out I was going to rate this 5/5 stars. Now it's 1 despite it not sucking right from the beginning. I cannot tell you how incredibly disappointed I am. For fuck sake you didn't need to do this, they could have resolved their issues without the rape ever entering into the equation. Or ml shooting mc. Because he did! Multiple times! Over a miscommunication! It's the worst. Why oh why, in a story with this much build up and care towards growing their relationship, did the couple's first time having sex have to be rape? Why when they are both in love and not just having a casual relationship, did the author insist on rape to get them to finally fuck?! It was such a sudden turn too! After the shit ml pulled mc should have recoiled at his touch, trembled in his presence, been utterly scared. Instead author just makes him angry and then immediately crave intimacy with ml. Why ruin all that good work just to tear it all down and then smash the lawyer and mafia boss together anyway?! What the ever loving fuck author?! What the actual fuck? Do not give this the time of day. There's much better stories out there. "Shutline" has great art and has fun dubcon. Hell "Plaything" for you rape enthusiasts has all the rape you could want and it makes sense within the plot! It's *that* type of story. Also you don't have to wait 50 chapters for it either! *And* the art is great in that too! This story just wastes your time.
