okay that was really cute. it gave me major butterfly action. BUT THEY FUCKING KILLED THE MOMENTUM. IT WAS GOING SO GOOD UNTIL IT WASNT. after the hot kissing scene where niel had to be like STOP YOU DONT ACTUALLY LOVE ME. there was no more passion. it was kinda awkward afterwards. like even when they started dating i couldn’t even tell. there was no like oh em gee i was pining for you this entire time blah blah blah. it was just a peck and they moved on. i know most of the time bls are a lot better beeeefore the couple gets together but this was like especially true. the author totally killed all the momentum it was leading up to. i think ideally the conversation with elle and niel realizing how toxic his way of thinking was shoulda been with jensen. it should have been like I DONT WANT YOU TO REGRET THIS NOT AFTER WHAT IVE EXPERIENCED. and then in a fit of not rage but like jensen can’t hold it in anymore and there’s a calm in the storm and he’s like …. but i love you. ive always loved you. and he’s like cryin. but that’s just my opinion :D anyway even after shitting all over it tho. it was really good. i haven’t read a bl in a while that has managed to make me butterfly so much. 8.25.22-8.28.22

i don’t wanna talk about it it was weirdly melancholic people. what’s with that. whenever a story does time jumps i find it hard to grasp the changes that happen. like first of all i don’t feel that six years have passed like i need more progression. also. how had their passion burn so brightly without each other. they must have like loved loved each other to be thinking of one another 24/7. like gosh darn. for the first part though. i liked the slow progression. i think the pacing was nice and not too rushed. until they did that stereotypical “wouldn’t it be crazy if we kissed rn
