A surprisingly introspective look at the struggles of a trans individual's personal search for identity. I would have given this 5 stars but the main character is a child whose voice hasn't changed yet.... so that was kinda awkward.

Love this!!!

An incredibly introspective tale about love and family. The transformation of these two characters is incredible and I am grateful to have read this deeply moving story. I cried several times and was easily able to empathize and understand both character's motivations and actions. I loved it! I hope very much for a continuation that is yaoi, like cherry blossoms after winter I would like to see their relationship evolve into adulthood. But even if that never happens I would still re-read this beautiful, narrative-driven story.

Ugh I want to like this but to be honest most of the time I was disgusted. I don't understand the cheating aspect of this??? Like I just don't get the relationship here...
