Mujintou Ni Motte Iku Nara
This is such a treat because it showcases the very underappreciated D&S in the BDSM genre. When most people think BDSM, they immediately think of whips, chains, or bondage. There are elements of a Dominate personality and a Submissive personality, but the focus is on the S&M part. Where one partner (Sadist) is aroused by inflicting pain, and the other partner (Masochist) enjoys receiving pain. BUT!!! You do not need the S&M elements for a Dominant/Submissive relationship. And that my good people is what is showcased in this sleeper kink manga. ***SpoilerS*** Was really shocked to watch this evolve from a cute unrequited love story to a twisted story of dominance and manipulation. We discover that in the past the Urk did anything and everything the Seme requested our of a sense of "obligation/responsibility." However, as adults when they decide to form a consensual relationship through their mutual desire. We discover that the Urk actually LOVES being dominated. He is asked to perform many sexual tasks by his dom and can't refuse him (doesn't want to cause it's his kink). But this was a match made in heaven cause it's clearly what they both want!!! Yay!
Naked Sword and the Tree Peony of Black
Literal perfection. Such a unique story of two people's lifelong devotion to each other and the beginning of their love story at the age of 37. I love stories that take place a little later in life it is very refreshing. The art style is also very different and cool to look at!
Warui Otona ni Narimashite
So two wrongs don't make a right... But two lies make a healthy foundation for a relationship?...
Fuyushirazu no Koi
100000000 stars for the art style alone! The story is also very interesting, the main character is very likable and it is easy to relate to them and their feelings. A story I will defiantly want to read again and again. ***Spoiler Thoughts*** In the first act we see a major conflict where the MC Mom catches him masturbating over his male cousin, and she cries. This is the catalyst for the MC trying to get a girlfriend and become straight. But later after they start a relationship and are sneaking around together you expect there to be some backlash from the MC's Mom or something. But that plot thread is just completely dropped. It was a bit of a "Chekhov's gun" mistake. (If you introduce a gun in act one of the story you must use the gun in act three for the audience to feel satisfied with the conclusion.) They introduced his Mom as a problem but then never brought it up again and it kinda just disappeared... But other than that this is a really good story!
