Holy shit this broke my fucking heart! I loved it! I wish there was more!!!

What a cool action drama! I loved the story and the characters! I loved the setting in the US as I l know some of the areas described and it was interesting to see it depicted in BL. I only wish that the story was a bit longer and that the author had taken a bit more time with their romance. It feels a bit rushed in some places especially the romantic proclamations or sexually intimate scenes. By not investing a lot of time in these moments it doesn't feel as believable that their love is mutual and that they would sacrifice so much to be together in the end. But other than that this was pure gold! Love it!

Somehow the sequel is amazing?! I read the original directily before this and tbh I hated it. Then I read this and it's amazing?!? There is character development, hot consensual sex, and interesting plot beats. Would reccomend!

Chapters 1,2&4.5 are absolute gold. A BDSM story unlike any I have encountered so far and I loved it. The juxtaposition between sexual power and social superiority was interesting. I also loved the dynamic of their relationship. Neither person was a victim, each knew exactly what they wanted and were willing to get themselves dirty to obtain it. A mature story with a fulfilling end. I just went back and read 3&4 the second story is also wonderful, I did not enjoy it quite as much as the first but it was really touching.

Very good story, a true "slice of life" experience. There were only a few sex scenes but I was shocked by how realistic they were. A lot of times in BL sex scenes can be bizarre or exaggerated but this felt very honest and authentic.

This so beautifully captures a performer's ambition and the desire to continuously improve. It was wonderful. On the one hand, I wish we had more information on both of their backgrounds, and why Kou's father did what he did. But on the other hand, it wasn't necessary for the growth of these characters at this point in their story, and the mystery allows the reader to fill in the blanks.

WOOOOOW! the title got this one right! There is no other way to describe this story than intense. Every moment of this feels like water on the verge of boiling. Their chemistry is so visceral, I do wish the sex scenes were a bit longer to capitalize on that and grater establish their emotional intimacy. I wish that this was a bit longer, and showed some of the other plot threads being tied up. Like maybe a 5 or 6 chapter epilogue would have been really nice. But this was still a 10/10 for me and is easily in my top 30 of all time!
