i came to read this manga because it is getting an anime...but I honestly think it would be better if it was live action instead. the stories had an interesting and nice atmosphere..almost a real feeling slice of life genre. I love how it covers hetero, gay, and lesbian relationships. Adding an older couple would have been a nice touch also. -not for you if you cant handle incest and pedophile themes

ch. 19. tachibana quits his job and opens a cake shop. he hires a patissier chef, ono, who happens to be the guy he rejected back in high school. Ono is gay and devilish gay who is able to make straight guys fall for him. ex boxer, kanda works as assistant chef for the store...and chikage, tachibana's friend, comes work as the waiter for the shop.

4.gay guy is a novelist and move to an island after breaking up his wedding by coming out. he meets a pretty boy by the bench and becomes attracted to him. the boy is an orphan who now lives with a distant relative...but then he is being sent to orphan home. they interacted and older guy confessed his interest. three years later, young boy came back as an adult and confessed his love to older guy. but older guy wont easily accept his love from a straight guy.

volume 4 ch. 17 -drawing is good. family story is good. i didn't really get into this story until it involved the kids,...but the year skip really surprise me.

1-4. college students in art departments (oil painting, architecture). they become roommates in the dorm and get along with each other when they lay out their family problems with each other. so so sweet! i wish to see them flirt more with each other! 5. two old friends (30 years old) has been living a useless life of getting gf and breaking up with them but still stuck with each other...they both like each other but didnt say anything...but one particular festive night, their feelings are revealed...and thats the start of their relationship. 6. gay guy wakes up to find out that he had sex with his crush kouhai kun after a drunk night but he doesnt remember it..now he feels that its the end of the world but guy reveals that he is in love with him. mutual love. nice read of short stories overall..favorite is still first story though. pacing/atmosphere of manga is really good. slow and good.
