Everytime I read the "scary looking guy who's a sweetheart" I remember Kuroda and immediately run to read Angel Densetsu again. This does stand on its own though, the MC is pretty evil. Also love the side characters, although the female characters are a bit similar to Densetsu's. 17

Wow that was not a satisfying ending. Was a bit disappointed but I guess it did deliver its message. Would've been nice if the author also expanded the story or developed the characters or anything else that mattered but whatever. It's better if you consider it a concept oneshot rather than a fully fledged series
