FANTASTIC PLOT. Uke is a prince, born from the previous king and a mistress. The king loved her too much and tried to tie her down, so she escaped with the prince and took shelter in a village, where the prince met a kind-hearted boy. The king chased them down and burned the entire village, killing everyone, only the seme managed to escape after losing both of his parents. He swore revenge on the prince because he felt betrayed, especially when the person he loved so much unintentionally caused the demise of everything else he loved. They re-united years later, and even though seme swore revenge he couldn't help but fall for the uke all over again. Turns out the uke had a tragic life when they were separated as well, his father, madly in love, killed his mother in a murder suicide.

10 stars!!! This is the most persistent Uke ever. He has a HUGE crush on Seme for a longggggggg time, but is too shy to do anything about it even though he comes off sold bold and loud every time they meet (mostly wanting his attention, even negative). They're both fucking GORGEOUS. I have never rooted for anyone to get their love returned more than the Uke. He's strong willed and strong hearted, and actually extremely kind and loving despite his diva behavior/exterior

40 yo superior trying to live his life to the fullest and 30 yo subordinate WHOS incredibly in love with him. Everything is so realistic and endearing

They already confessed and basically did a marriage bow in the church though, with grandpa’s blessings, so all is well. Could’ve been longer leading into their high school and adult life, but I understand the author wanting to depict adolescent love and growing pains

Multiple stories. Bit twisted love, at least one lover is doing something shady like being a cheater. Only ONE wholesome couple (2nd)
