They genuinely fall in love with each other, with the playboy becoming completely smitten first.

Realistic pacing. Two boys approaching the end of middle school while coming to terms that they are in love with each other even though their lives are reaching a fork in the road (going to diff high schools). They already confessed and basically did a marriage bow in the church though, with grandpa’s blessings, so all is well. Could’ve been longer leading into their high school and adult life, but I understand the author wanting to depict adolescent love and growing pains

Uke who is a tsundere loves to cross dress but got discovered by a classmate and decided to monitor him 24/7 out of fear of exposure. Good thing that the guy is gay and is actually a HUGE sweetheart, and they came to care for each other. The guy has really good and accepting friends too.
